In early-mid April, Sneaker News showed you the Shooting Stars Classic PE of the Nike LeBron 8 V/2, a special edition sneaker given exclusively to the players of the Akron-based AAU Team called the King James Shooting Stars. Of course it’s simply a matter of time before these PEs end up in the hands of hardcore LeBron collectors, and thanks to lilpennymagicfan of ISS, we finally get a nice detailed look at this sweet Black/Red/White colorway. The black upper is sandwiched between two varsity red sectionals (the lace placket and the midsole) with a black Max Air unit and white outsole rounding out the bottom chassis of the shoe. Additional details include the white-bordered red swoosh and the varsity red Flywire and inner lining. Considering there was no released ‘Away’ version of the LeBron 8 V/2, these would’ve performed rather well on retail shelves. Additional detailed images await you below so take a look and let us know what you think.
