$29.77? Holy mackerel. That was the discounted box price of a pair of Air Jordan 1s back in the day, marked down from the original retail price of $64.99. Sneaker News has been showing you some great Air Jordan 1 finds, like the OG pair of the White/Grey low-tops and the supremely rare Air Jordan 1 PE that featured a protective ankle strap/harness apparatus to help protect Michael’s injured foot. While we’ve seen the Air Jordan 1 in its original form on many occasions, it’s pretty interesting to see that the original Air Jordan 1 didn’t exactly fly off the shelves. Of course this colorway of the Air Jordan 1 is best remembered for Michael’s magnanimous 63-point performance against the Boston Celtics in the ’86 Playoffs. Check out the gallery of images below and let us know if you’re surprised at all at the $29.77 price, and if you want to see what the asking price is right now, check out the auction from xxfreshhhxx on eBay.
