Truthfully, any Nike shoe can be ‘Free’. The super-flexible outsole could be applied to any upper, like a Nike LeBron 8 ‘Free’ or an SB Dunk Low ‘Free. How about the Nike Free Waffle, which takes the retro-inspired Nike Air Waffle and gives it a ‘Free’ treatment in the form of a 5.0 Free-grooved outsole? Both the Black/Red/Silver and Grey/Volt colorways just became available for purchase at Nike retailers in-store (21 Mercer) and online (Nikestore, but note that the color of the midsole on the ‘Volt’ is incorrect and likely an earlier sample image), so take a look at both new colorways after the jump and let us know what other Nike shoes would be rather interesting with a ‘Free’ outsole.
