Today, Reebok finally unveiled the Reebok Kamikaze 2011 in 84 limited edition pairs of the Red/Grey colorway, each autographed by hip-hop mega-producer Swizz Beats. Now that the groundwork has been laid for the most anticipated Reebok shoe in years, Reebok will release two more colorways this June 10th – one in a Grey/Neon/White combination and a second in a Black/Orange/White version. Both pairs will hit select stores in New York City, Boston, Philadelphia, Washington DC, Baltimore, Atlanta, Miami, Houston, Chicago, Detroit, New Orleans, Los Angeles, and San Francisco. Both colorways feature the aggressive midsole design with visible Hexalite cushioning, a sleek patent leather toe guard, nubuck and synthetic leather uppers, and a breathable mesh-like material on the upper and tongue. Expect both colorways to hit stores on June 10th, so take another look below and let us know what you think.

Reebok can bite me. "Select stores in NYC, Boston…" What, my money isn't green here in Syracuse? Keep your Swizz boots and keep my sneaker budget limited to good looking shoes in my market.

lol i think you mean colorway buddy

nike does the same with some shoes. Like teir zero releases and other limited stuff. What about jordan with the premio line?? lol haters gonna hate.

I respect the Premio line, Year of the Rabbit, Doernbecher etc. Nike has some iconic products, and some sneaks should be rare limited releases. But Reebok has not earned that right. Dropping the Packer Pump 20 and Kamikaze 2011 in select cities just tells me, the consumer, they don't think my buying market support their product. They are wrong.

wow what a horrible looking sneaker. HUGE pass. If Reebok knew what they were actually doing, they would retro the original Kamikaze, but instead produce a pile of ass heap like this. SMH 58 times.

Reebok is really trying to come up, they are giving it they're best shot and they got swizz beatz along to help them.

Haha. Another close-minded NYC cock farmer who couldn't cut it at Columbia U so they slither upstate to Syracuse U and slam a town they're "too good for" rather than explore. I have three Newhouse interns that chase their tails in my office and they write about as good as you.
Sneakertown, Streetgame, Sneakervilla, Fleet Feet, NY Sportswear and of course Footaction etc. There's more than just J. Michaels and Carousel in Syracuse if you dare to stretch your legs.

this is bs. a consumer is a consumer. why the fuck is reebok doing this w/ these limited releases in selected cities? i understand creating a hype or buzz for the first drop, but now they are just slapping perspective buyers who are out of these locations in the face and telling us we dont matter.
