Despite earning a three-seed, the Air Jordan VI ‘Carmine’ was actually one of the contenders for the championship title in the Sneaker News March Madness OG Air Jordan Tournament. It ended up lasting just two rounds, as its second round opponent was the historic Air Jordan III White/Cement, but that’s one outcome of the tournament that you can’t be too mad at. Regardless of the win or loss, the Air Jordan VI ‘Carmine’ is considered to be one of the best Air Jordans of all time and was arguably the most coveted release of the Collezione Package onslaught of 2008; the Air Jordan VI is one of the all-time greats and the Carmine hadn’t seen the light of day in nearly two decades. Here’s a look at an original pair of the Carmines; it features the unique red/white alternate color-blocking on the upper with the legendary Nike Air logo on the heel. Paired with it is a Black/Cement box and an Air Jordan Flight Club registration card (likely devoid in present time). Check out the gallery of this rare Air Jordan item below and check out the aution from gemini23chris on eBay.
