Hatfield may very well be remembered for his ‘firsts’, so its no crime to label the Air Max 1 as the greatest Nike Running design of all time, especially when the bright Citrine Yellow, cool Gridiron grey, and soothing aqua blue upper brings out the best in this classic, much like a simple dash of salt enhances an everyday cut of steak.
