Drastic changes have been made to the Nike Air Max Running flagship from 2009 -> 2010 -> 2011 on the upper designs, shedding Flywire, adding diamond mesh, and implementing Fuse. For the Air Max+ 2012, Nike is taking a page out of the book of the recently released Nike Free Run+ 2 and upcoming Nike Lunarglide+ 3, using the multi-layered upper design that mimics the muscular anatomy of the human foot. A mesh base layer lies underneath a layer of Fuse, with another tensile material above it to create a highly stable and lightweight upper construction, with the heel being constructed with the seam-less composite material seen on other Nike Fuse footwear designs. Remaining unchanged is the running-specific 360-degree Max Air footbed. Take look at the eight upcoming colorways after the jump and stick with Sneaker News for more updates on the 2012 flagship model of the Nike Air Max running shoe, and except these to hit Nike Running retailers during the Spring 2012 season. via CK.
