Another week of new sneaker releases are upon us, but have you kept on pace? It may be difficult (and at times, pesky) to keep up with all the fresh releases, but that’s what the Sneaker News Weekly Buyer’s Guide is here for – to give you a quick rundown of what’s fresh out of the oven. Nike SB’s June 2011 releases just became available (that ‘Send Help’ SB Dunk Mid is looking great) as did the Grey/Neon colorway of the Air Max JR. If you’re looking for Retro trainers, this week brought in a new colorway of the Air Trainer SC II High and an OG colorway of the Air Trainer Max2 ’94. We’ve also got a quick preview of what’s hitting stores this weekend, so check out this week’s Buyer’s Guide and let us know what you’ll be copping!

Unless his Chicago Bulls can pull off a 92/8 upset, 2011 NBA MVP Derrick Rose will have to wait until next year to continue working toward his first championship. Less than 10 times in over 200 instances has a team down 3-1 come back to win a conference finals series, so we may as well start taking a hard look at the adidas adiZero Rose 2.0. This model is a logical follow-up to the adiRose 1.5 upgrade, their super-lighteweight SprintWeb uppers offering a breathable ride. This Gucci-leaning colorway feature the ‘Cleared for Flight’ insoles we saw in a recent preview, which ironically enough doesn’t feature a ‘cancelled’ status for Miami, the team likely to end their run. Click through to see more angles and stick with Sneaker News for updates like the adiZero Rose 2.0 release date. Thanks kham

We just got a look at the third Air Max 90 ‘CBF’, but that doesn’t mean the Brazilians have the edge over the French. Just two days after Sneaker News showed you images of two classic runners done as part of the same collaboration, here’s a brand new Nike Air BW Gen II created with the French Football Federation in mind. These new BW Gen IIs aren’t Tricolored like the FFF retro runners we saw Tuesday, but instead opt for the tonal grey look that seems to be among the most popular in the sneaker world these days. A translucent sole reveals a soccer ball geometric on the bottom and you can see this and more details when you click on the jump below. Let us know what you think and if you want to grab your own ‘FFF’ Air BW Gen IIs, check with select Nike Sportswear retailers like Shelta.

The world was introduced to Nike Shox Basketball when Vince Carter jumped over and cleared the seven footer Frederic Weis, for a vicious dunk in what seemingly ended Weis’ NBA career at the 2000 Sydney Olympics. Carter continued to lead Shox Basketball with his own signature line, the Nike Shox VC, but now Nike Basketball is poised to revive Shox Basketball with the Nike Hypershox; a fusion of the upper and midsole of the Nike Hyperfuse 2011 with an Air Shox unit. A cool feature of this Black/Black colorway of the Hypershox is the metallic swoosh on the midsole that changes color when viewed at different angles. Check out the additional images after the jump and let us know what you think. via Kicks-Lab.

“Why is Eric here, dude?”
It’s a fair question, given that a team of Nike SB riders were sent to pick up Eric Koston from Paramount’s Hollywood studios. Koston jokingly explained that he was auditioning for a part in Beverly Hills Chiuaua 3, but judging by the arc in the tour video just posted to his Nike SB microsite, it’s all part of a whirlwind life for Swoosh Skateboarding’s newest superstar. The guys headed east from LA into Arizona where we start to see some skate action, including a memorable 50-50 along a swooping ledge while using a Shake Weight. And there’s plenty more where that came from, including some golf, more skating and all set to a dope soundtrack. Click through to see more and head over to the Eric Koston microsite to see the video, then get ready for the Nike SB Zoom Koston One to hit retailers next month.

The newest Nike Zoom Kobe VI colorway marks the first time the Staples Center has been darkened for the year before a ‘Blackout’ edition hit retail. And to be fair, this black and silver Zoom Kobe 6 isn’t as dark as your typical ‘Triple Black’ look, but the color combination does roughly match last year’s Zoom Kobe V ‘Blackout’, if adding a bit of levity thanks to a fully grey Swoosh this time around. But with no purple splash on the sole they carry an overall darker tone than last year’s model, but are they better? Click through to see more angles, let us know what you think and if you want to grab a pair before the US release date, head over to Kicks-lab.

Yet more Air Jordan 2.0 goodness this week as today we have our best look yet at the colorway revealed here on Sneaker News earlier this week. The AJ 2.0 demands attention in this black nubuck and textured leather getup, the red, green and white accents evoking images of the initial Air Jordan Spiz’ike colorway that hit retailers in early ’07. The AJII could be considered the first ‘bookend’ to the Spizike’s design elements, so it’s almost poetic to see this palette reproduced on an upgraded version. Click through to see some additional angles and if you’d like to grab a pair before they hit retail, consider contacting MarqueeSole.

On January 4th, 2000, a billionaire entrepreneur named Mark Cuban purchased the Dallas Mavericks, a struggling franchise entrenched in a blight of perennial losing seasons. With no light at the end of the tunnel,Cuban directed the Mavericks to the NBA Finals in just six years, the first in franchise history, earning a reputation as one of most supportive and dedicated owners in professional sports. At the same time, Cuban has not had a smooth relationship with the NBA front office, as he’s incurred more than $1.5 million in fines for incidents involving referees and league officials, with the most notable of Cuban’s outcries stemming from that 2006 Finals series – one that Tim Donaghy claimed was fixed in favor of Miami Heat.
Since that controversial series, Mark Cuban has wheeled and dealed and continued to spend while sticking his head in nearly every big-name free agent/trade discussion. Amidst criticism from so-called NBA experts and fans from around the league especially after losing to Golden State in the first round of the Playoffs in 2007, Cuban continued to trust and build around his superstar Dirk Nowitzki in an unflinching manner, and his devotion has clearly paid off the Mavericks easily defeated the Oklahoma City Thunder in five games and have earned a second trip to the NBA Finals. Two-time scoring champ Kevin Durant have been sent home early, but the future is as bright as ever for the Thunder, so expect them back in the 2012 Finals mix. A rematch of the 2006 NBA Finals looks to be in the books, so stay tuned to Sneaker News for more 2011 NBA Playoff updates as we approach the Finals! via Yahoo!.

What you see before your eyes is the Air Jordan V ‘Tokyo23′, quite possibly one of the sneakers to be given a coveted spot on Sneaker News’ Top 30 Sneakers of 2011. All attention was directed toward Japan due to the tragic natural disaster, and never before did a sneaker seem less important, but in a way, the launch of the Jordan Brand Tokyo23 website gave some added attention sorely needed by the people of the country – and perhaps that led to more donations and charitable funding. Nearly a month after the release and the Air Jordan V T23 is still a talked-about shoe, so if you’ve been looking for a pair and are willing to pony up the cash, RMKStore has a few sizes available, but you can also check for your size on eBay.
