Air Jordan AJKO Black Red | OG Pair on eBay

OG pairs of the Air Jordan AJKO are reserved for the hardcore of the hardcore. The black/red AJKO is near the top of rarest Air Jordans of all time, joining the several team-based colorways of the Air Jordan 1 and off-colored AJKOs like the tonal indigo purple colorway. This original pair of the Black/Red AJKO you see here has withstood the test of time (AJKOs don’t age very well thanks to the canvas upper), with the only real degradation occuring on the midsole and eroded lace eyelets. Other than that, what you see before you is a true Air Jordan collector’s gem that is priced rather fairly compared to other OG Air Jordan 1s and AJKOs we’ve seen before. If you’ve never seen this colorway before, check out the extra images below and take a look at the auction from silverline55paul on eBay.

Air Jordan V Retro Black Metallic Silver | Available Early

Believe it or not, this is the second release in 2011 of an Air Jordan V in Black/Metallic Silver. Of course the first of such releases was the Premio version that dropped in February, but for those who were unable to cop one of the roughly 2,000 pairs in existence, a general release version modeled after the original release in 1990 (like the OG pair we showed you recently) is set for a wide drop later this year. A few changes to be noted; the upper features a softer nubuck, the Jumpman on the outsole is red and not the OG black, and the stitching on the outsole returns once again, carrying over from the 2007 Retro version. These are set for a Fall 2010 release, but SneakerApe is glad to share that they have a full size run available for purchase now. Take another look below and head there to cop one now.

Nike Air Max+ 2012 Spring 2012

Drastic changes have been made to the Nike Air Max Running flagship from 2009 -> 2010 -> 2011 on the upper designs, shedding Flywire, adding diamond mesh, and implementing Fuse. For the Air Max+ 2012, Nike is taking a page out of the book of the recently released Nike Free Run+ 2 and upcoming Nike Lunarglide+ 3, using the multi-layered upper design that mimics the muscular anatomy of the human foot. A mesh base layer lies underneath a layer of Fuse, with another tensile material above it to create a highly stable and lightweight upper construction, with the heel being constructed with the seam-less composite material seen on other Nike Fuse footwear designs. Remaining unchanged is the running-specific 360-degree Max Air footbed. Take look at the eight upcoming colorways after the jump and stick with Sneaker News for more updates on the 2012 flagship model of the Nike Air Max running shoe, and except these to hit Nike Running retailers during the Spring 2012 season. via CK.

With the release of the Nike Air Max 24/7, you might’ve known a ’365′ version would release. Here’s a look at the next Nike Running shoe to feature Nike’s prized 360 Max Air unit in its fully-uncaged glory; sitting on top of the uber-comfy cushioning unit is an all-new upper design similar to the Trainer 1.3 Max and Hyperfuse panels that reveal a sporty two-toned colorway. The Air Max 365 (which is also being called the Air Max Ultra) will release in several colorways in both mens and womens varieties beginning this Fall 2011 season, starting with the classic Metallic Silver/Volt combination in July. Nike Air Foamposite One Electric Green Release Date

Around this time of year in 2010, Nike Sportswear released the Nike Air Foamposite One ‘Cough Drop’ as a House of Hoops and Nike exclusive release, but it fell at an inopportune time as the release of the Air Jordan VI ‘Infrared Pack’ fell on the same day. This year’s Quickstrike release of the Air Foamposite One ‘Electric Green’ steers clear of any other big-name drops, as these are slated for a House of Hoops Exclusive release this Thursday, May 19th. The ‘Electric Green’ Foamposite is the fourth overall Foamposite One/Pro release of the year, which is almost $1,000, tax inclusive, of Foamposite goodness in just five months. Check with your local House of Hoops locations for release quantities and let us know if you’ll be copping these this Thursday. via taobao.

Nike SB Zoom Stefan Janoski Woodgrain Quickstrike

Wood grain has been a mark of luxury in automobiles for years but has only been used sparingly on sneakers in the past.  Notable examples include the Nike SB Dunk High ‘Deck’ and ‘Twin Peaks’, the 2010 Nike Basketball NBA All-Star collection, and of course, Michael Lau’s Nike SB collaborations.  In fact, Lau already did a wooden Nike SB Zoom Stefan Janoski in 2009 as part of the 10th anniversary of his Gardner toy series, but the new one pictured above is closer to the Decks in its execution than Lau’s collabos.  They’re done in a specially treated suede that gives this brown colorway a very organic feel that’s a bit more ‘finished’ when compared to January’s Dunk Low SB that had a similar pattern pressed into its suede side panels.  Click through to see more of the latest Zoom Stefan Janoski Quickstrike and look for a mere 1500 pairs of these to hit select Nike SB retailers in the coming weeks.  via N-SB
