Pharrell Williams attended and performed at the Cannes Film Festival this past weekend at the Red Granite Pictures party. Pharrell posted up on stage with his MacBook Pro and some lovely ladies while playing some new songs, all in a pair of crispy Air Jordan VII ‘Bordeaux’s’. It seems that Skateboard P may have traded his ‘South Beach’ LeBron 8′s for some Air Jordan’s as of late, as he’s been seen in nothing but Jordan’s over the past couple of months, including the last time he showed up here on a Sneaker News Celebrity Feet feature, which featured his Toro Bravo 3M Jordan V’s. Check out Pharrell and his Bordeaux VII after the jump. via: BBC/Ice Cream Blog

Team football kits typically consist of a number of alternate colorways, each representing the squad during Home affairs and out-of-town match-ups. With that idea in mind, here’s the second colorway of the Nike Zoom Kobe VI ‘FC Barcelona’; taken directly from the familiar FC Barcelona ‘Home’ kit, the second FC Barcelona Kobe VI features a navy blue and red upper with a gold swoosh and a bold-striped inner lining. Unlike the first Bright Mango colorway, the ‘Home’ FC Barcelona’ features a solid outsole. These have begun to pop up at House of Hoops locations in Europe so if you’re overseas, watch for these Euro-exclusives at select Nike Basketball retailers soon. Thanks vjw8823

The Air Jordan Flight Club is a venture that’s been going on nearly as long as the Air Jordan Legacy, this Michael Jordan fan club stretching from the series’ early days all the way to the present. In recent years, we’ve seen a few models drop in limited quantities only to Flight Club members, but here’s a little something extra from AJFC you could have gotten just for eating your Wheaties. For a brief period in 1991, the General Mills cereal came with Mike on the front wearing the Air Jordan V ‘Grape’ and an Air Jordan Flight Club calendar inside that included a run through the year with a signup card to join the club included at the end. Are you old enough to have seen or even owned one of these? Click through to see more, let us know if you find yourself reliving childhood memories on sight and stick with Sneaker News for more rare MJ memorabilia. via JordansDaily

On the heels of the successful release of the limited edition Swizz Beatz x Reebok Kamikaze 2011 this past Friday, Reebok’s future in the lifestyle genre looks rather promising. Sneaker News already showed you an all-new high-top model with two in-step straps studded with square rivets, which gave you a nice hint about what to expect from the Swizz x Reebok partnership, so here’s a look at a few more samples. The most notable of these samples is the red/silver/white pair, which is clearly inspired by another Reebok Basketball classic – the Reebok Blast. The Midsole features visible Hexalite a la the Question Mid and a flashy upper design using a number of different materials like a metallic-finished mesh, patent leather, and flat leather. Another interesting pair is Black/Gold mid-top which features a luxurious in-step strap that spans the entire forefoot. In addition to the new models is a new colorway of the Reebok Kamikaze 2011. Check out the samples below and let us know which of these samples you like best. via TSG.

Picking something like the “most deluxe” of New Balance classic running silhouettes would probably come down to determining the highest quality of materials on aggregate. These models all feature a certain air of sophistication and their numbers aren’t perfectly sequential, but if you consider the history of the New Balance 1500 it probably wins on premium release frequency, comfort technology and, of course, the number. The NB1500 will return this fall in a couple of colorways we showed you in tradeshow preview images around the turn of the year, the red pair quite similar to La MJC’s collaboration with colette from late 2010. Click through to see more of the red and purple suede New Balance 1500s and stick with Sneaker News for more in advance of the Q3 release date. via hanon.
