The biggest Nike Air Force 1 release in months not built from Foamposite has sneakerheads buzzing. AF1 king Mayor designed a new Bespoke with his own take on the deluxe denim theme, but how does his design compare to the Nike Air Force 1 Premium in raw indigo with Metallic Bronze accents? The fact that we’re even comparing a relatively easy-to-get release with an $820 1of1 should give you some indication of how nicely Nike Sportswear’s latest turned out, but a quick look at the run of detailed images that await your click on the jump below should close the deal. You gotta love the custom stitching, leather details and overall top notch feel, so be sure to check back with Sneaker News in case we find these available in advance of the May 28th release date. via Kenlu

Here’s a new release from Supra that much like the Cheech & Chong Dunk High SB that recently had the sneakerhead community abuzz, probably would have been best suited for an April 20th release date. But the Supra Vaider ‘Rasta Pack’ still finds itself well-timed, its vibrant high contrast colorway a welcome addition to the summer smorgasborg. Both pairs (Vaider Low and Mid) feature neutral woven hemp uppers plus red, yellow and green leather accents (along with laces in those shades), all atop a gum rubber vulcanized sole. Click through to see more angles and look for these at your local mall; they’re a Zumiez exclusive.

At this point in the calendar year, Fabolous is running away with the title of Celebrity Sneakerhead of 2011. Sneaker News has spotted him in a number of great sneakers over the past few months, with the most recent outing being with the Air Jordan VII ‘Year of the Rabbit’. This time Fabolous’ connections have gone a little deeper because he was seen wearing the Air Jordan V Quai 54 – the all-new White and Radiant Green colorway of the Air Jordan V Retro that will release in conjunction with this year’s Jordan Brand Quai 54 Tournament. Fabolous was spotted with these new Jordans when he attended the VEVO GO show taping late last week. Check out Fabolous and his new kicks after the jump and let us know if you plan on copping a pair of the Air Jordan V Quai 54.

Nike Skateboarding is ready to release the Nike SB Zoom Koston One Collection, Eric Koston’s first pro model with Nike SB. A look at the upcoming colorways reveals two rather interesting make-ups drawing inspiration from fellow Nike athlete Kobe Bryant and his signature line of sneakers. One version features the Zoom Koston One silhouette, but with a Kobe VI treatment, and the second features a complete Kobe VI upper with the skate-ready ZK1 outsole. Lunar cushioning is a first for Nike Skateboarding so carrying it over into the skate world via Eric Koston’s new signature shoe is about a generous introduction as you can imagine. Check out the rest of the Zoom Koston One Collection and let us know what you think of the Kobe VI x Zoom Koston One hybrid. via FnG.

Are these a precursor to the upcoming release of the Air Jordan XI ‘Concord’? A white and black upper paired with a translucent outsole is fairly accurate description of the Concords, but what we see here is an all-new colorway of the Air Jordan XI IE Low that Michael wore during the 1995-96 NBA Season. Michael displayed a penchant towards low-cut sneakers towards the latter end of his career and the XI IE Low is one of the few original low-top Air Jordan renditions that actually released (with a plethora of low-tops that followed during Retro releases). The new White/Metallic Silver-Black colorway is slated for a July 2011 release with a price-tag of $120 so take a look at these new images below and look out for these early from air-randy on eBay.

LeBron and the Miami Heat just got trounced in Chicago and the Bulls appear poised to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Michael Jordan’s first championship with another Larry O’Brien Trophy. It’s only one game and too early to write off the rest of the series, but this latest colorway of the Nike LeBron 8 V/2 Low manages a nice balance between the Eastern Conference Finals competitors’ color schemes. The LeBron 8 V2 Low in Solar Red is among the most intense from the entire LeBron 8 line and while we don’t have a concrete release date as of now, you can rest assured they’ll release before the LeBron 9 hits in November (October?). Click through to see more of the Solar Red LeBron 8 V2 Low and if you want to get yours early check out the limited stock currently available at Kicks-lab.

The Conference Finals kicked off this past weekend as the Miami Heat took on the Chicago Bulls for the opening Game of the Eastern Conference Finals. All eyes were on Derrick Rose, Carlos Boozer, Dwyane Wade, LeBron James, and Chris Bosh, a group comprised of four of the biggest free agents from the 2010 off-season and the 2010-2011 league MVP, but our attention was directed toward Taj Gibson who laid down two poster-worthy slam dunks. The notable sneakers of the game were Gibson’s Air Max Fly By, Wade’s Jordan Fly Wade in Black/Varsity Red, and Mike Bibby’s Jordan Alpha 3 Percent, slated to release in the coming months. The dust hadn’t settled quite yet out West, as the Grizzlies and the Thunder were still battling it out for a spot in the Western Conference Finals. The series came down to Game 7 (the only playoff series that reached that mark) in Oklahoma City, where Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook shined once again. Check out the NBA Feet recap from the weekend’s playoff games and stick with Sneaker News for more NBA Feet coverage as we near the 2011 NBA Finals! via Yahoo!.

It was quite a surprise to see Deion Sanders pop up with a Supra Society special edition colorway this March, Prime Time having worn Nike (and Air Jordan) cleats for the entirety of his dual-sport career. Deion’s Nike Sportswear retro models have seen their fare share of releases over the past couple years and from the looks of this latest preview, that one-off with Supra doesn’t signify the death of the Diamond Turf series. Check out the Nike Air Diamond Turf 2 in a sample for spring 2012, its colorway a bit closer to what you’d expect from the Ken Griffey Jr.’s signature line than his Nike Training contemporary. So what do you think of the ‘Freshwater’-style colorway for the Air Diamond Turf 2? Despite earning a three-seed, the Air Jordan VI ‘Carmine’ was actually one of the contenders for the championship title in the Sneaker News March Madness OG Air Jordan Tournament. It ended up lasting just two rounds, as its second round opponent was the historic Air Jordan III White/Cement, but that’s one outcome of the tournament that you can’t be too mad at. Regardless of the win or loss, the Air Jordan VI ‘Carmine’ is considered to be one of the best Air Jordans of all time and was arguably the most coveted release of the Collezione Package onslaught of 2008; the Air Jordan VI is one of the all-time greats and the Carmine hadn’t seen the light of day in nearly two decades. Here’s a look at an original pair of the Carmines; it features the unique red/white alternate color-blocking on the upper with the legendary Nike Air logo on the heel. Paired with it is a Black/Cement box and an Air Jordan Flight Club registration card (likely devoid in present time). Check out the gallery of this rare Air Jordan item below and check out the aution from gemini23chris on eBay.

Video analysis of the 1987 NBA Slam Dunk Contest shows that Michael Jordan’s vertical was an astounding 42.6 inches; could he have gotten even higher with the aid of Air Max cushioning? The Air Jordan 2.0 won’t rewrite history but it is certainly a performance-oriented upgrade to one of the Air Jordan Legacy’s sleeper hits. This first colorway is the same as the one MJ wore during that February ’87 dunk-off vs. Dominique Wilkins, save the black misdole on the OG AJII being swapped for a Varsity Red 360-degree Max Air unit. Click through to see more shots of the first Air Jordan 2.0 colorway that’ll be hitting US retailers on June 4th and stick with Sneaker News in case they become available early. via Sneak-r

Foot Locker Europe bills It’s a Sneaker Thing as “your go-to portal for all things sneaker-related, whether you’ve got something to share, or you simply want access to the latest news, videos and imagery.” It’s a lofty goal that several parties have shown interest in achieving: uniting the online sneakerhead community in one convenient place where we can all share in the shoe game, but will FLEU be successful? There’s already a bunch of solid content on display so the answer could turn out to be yes; click through to see a small sampling of what’s up and then check out It’s a Sneaker Thing for yourself.

Nike Sportswear recently came at its consumers with a slew of Nike Dunk releases as part of the ‘Be True To Your Street‘ collection, which featured re-issues of classic Nike Dunk colorways given a ‘Vintage’ treatment. Some might say a release of that nature was long overdue, and hopefully it’s a sign of many new Nike Dunk releases to come, like this promising new women’s colorway in a tonal ‘Lightbulb’ yellow upper and white. It utilizes a canvas-like material with a glossy leather finish on the swoosh and heeltab for contrast – similar usage to the Tech Grey pair we showed you not long ago. Kickscrew just got these new releases available, so take a look at the detailed gallery below and pick up a pair now on eBay.
