Jordan Brand has been releasing sandals almost as long as the Jumpman has existed as a separate division of Nike Inc, so for us to flat-out state that these are the single best design they’ve come up with so far is something of which you’ll want to take notice. Check out the Air Jordan III Retro Slide in True Blue, a sandal that so perfectly mimics its sneaker inspiration that you might find yourself searching through the box for laces. You’re held in with a wide velcro strap on the forefoot, but even that element bears the AJ3′s signature plastic eyelets, and the sole is spot-on with its Elephant print and visible Air cushioning. Click through to get a better look, let us know how they compare to the ‘White Cement’ edition and look for these at select JB retailers like Extra Butter or get yours now on eBay.

One outta two ain’t bad, whether you’re talking about hitting shots from the field or winning a road game against your favored opponent in the Western Conference Finals. But when it comes to celebrating a major regular season award, one simply isn’t enough, so when his Thunder take to the Ford Center court in Game 3, Kevin Durant will break out the ‘Home’ edition of the Nike Zoom KD III ‘Scoring Title’ PE. These joints are white where the ‘Away’ pair was black, making the unique interlocking letter pattern on the side panels considerably more visible, which makes for an interesting foil against the forefoot Flywire panel. Click through to get a better look at a model we should see on Saturday night and stick with Sneaker News to see the Zoom KD III Scoring Title ‘Home’ PE in our NBA Feet feature.

Boing boing. At the turn of the century, Nike introduced Shox technology, which was as comfortable as it was gimmicky. Compared to sleek nature of Max Air, Shox was a turn in a completely opposite direction as Shox cushioning gave its shoes a completely futuristic, robotic appeal. While Shox is still prevalent in running quarters, it’s been slowly phased out of Basketball over the last few years thanks to the supreme comfort of Zoom Air and re-tooled basketball-specific Max Air. Nike Shox Basketball is about to make a big comeback with the Nike Hypershox, which features the newer Air-infused Shox pillars for cushioning and a Hyperfuse upper. The Hypershox is set for a debut later this year, but take a look at this detailed gallery of an upcoming Grey/Red/White colorway below and let us know what you think. via Marqueesole.

A lack of advancement in the field of time-travel technology won’t allow us to go back to the 90′s, but Nike is doing its part to relive its best decade by re-releasing some of our favorite silhouettes. In 2012, Nike has plans of retroing the Nike Air Diamond Turf II, the second model of Deion Sanders’ signature line. This preview of these three upcoming colorways show you the Grey/Freshwater colorway that we showed you earlier this week, a Black/White edition, and the most nostalgic of the bunch, the San Francisco 49ers colorway of white, black, and red with the gold mesh upper. Like the Air Diamond Turf retro releases of 2010, there won’t be any Deion Sanders-related insignia (he’s no longer a Nike athlete). Continue reading for another look and expect these to hit Nike Retro retailers this Spring 2012 season with a pricetag of $120. via CK.

Judging by the comments left here on Sneaker News, sneakerheads so far have preferred the original Air Jordan 2011 to its Quick Fuse edition, but then again, both of the colorways we’ve seen so far have been subtle if a tad boring. Black/white and white/black certainly have their place in the world of shoe design, but how about something a bit more vibrant? Maybe the black and Photo Blue AJ2011 Quick Fuse will be the one to capture your imagination. The palette is similar to a House of Hoops-exclusive Fly Wade that just released, the black forefoot framed by bright blue on the heel and midsole. A few days back, we got our first sneak peek at a very intriguing edition of the upcoming Nike SB Zoom Koston One featuring the upper of the Kobe VI fixed atop the Koston midsole. Eric’s love for Kobe and the Lakers is well known, so for the introduction of his first signature model from Nike SB, a very special version of the shoe was created to bring the two superstar LA athletes together in shoe form. Unfortunately for most of us, news has just surfaced indicating that a mere 24 pairs of this crazy collab shoe will be available for purchase. The shoe will release tomorrow, May 21st at the Nike Vault in Los Angeles complete with a custom wooden humidor containing Nike Eric Koston golf balls and a luxurious suede shoe bag. Proceeds from the sales will go to charitable measures from Nike Better World and The Kobe Bryant Family Foundation to improve LA playgrounds. Check out some more pics and info after the jump and if you were planning on getting a pair, you’d better come up with a gameplan immediately!

The Nike Zoom Huarache TR Low has been subject to a number of special colorways and releases, like the Manny Pacquiao editions and the Joe Mauer ‘The Show’ PE. One colorway that we’ve been anticipating long before those special athlete editions were even known about was this White/Varsity Royal-Volt colorway, which takes after one of the OG colorways of the Nike Air Huarache running shoe from the 90′s. The Huarache TR Low is no longer just a running shoe, but an all-purpose trainer thanks to the rugged traction, Torch sock-liner, and Zoom Air cushioning, so the multi-sport service of the TR Low should make them one of the best shoes of the summer. Take a look at the new images below and grab a pair now on Eastbay or on eBay.

They were supposed to hit retailers in late April and then got pushed into May, so will the June 9th release date for the next trio of Air Jordan 2011 colorways hold firm? We certainly hope so, because each one of them is quite dope in its own right, this black and Neo Lime edition holding down the darker end of the spectrum. In this latest round of images, we get a really good sense for how dynamic the luxurious leather mudguard will look once you’ve got your pair. These are definite head-turners and you can see more new photos when you click on the jump below. via mita-sneakers.
