To help cheer on the Miami Heat during their road game in Chicago for Game 5, T-Mobile arranged a ‘Road Rally’ event with hip-hop artist Ludacris as one of the night’s performers. For his performance, Ludacris wore one of the rarest Air Jordans ever made – the Air Jordan XX3 Titanium. The Titanium Air Jordan XX3 released in January of 2008 in limited quantities, with just 529 pairs circulating in the United States – one of which is clearly in possession of the ATL-born star. Ludacris couldn’t pick a better time to break out the Titaniums because his efforts in the rally may have helped will the Miami Heat to that fourth-quarter comeback and an NBA Finals appearance! Check out Ludacris and the Air Jordan XX3 Titanium below and let us know what you think.

The Fall Season is typically one of the most important stretches of the year, as sneakerheads pile up in stores to stock up on fresh sneakers for the new school year. We all know how important it is to walk into class on the first day of school wearing the cleanest, crispest pair of sneakers (save the beaters for a rainy day), and Jordan Brand has one big-time release waiting for us in the month of September. The Air Jordan III Stealth is set to release this September with a retail price of $150 (apparently the new Jordan Retro standard price – for now); you can count on these flying off the shelves once they hit because almost all Air Jordan III releases do. Check out these new pictures from Osneaker and if you want to get ahead of the game, pick up a pair right now on eBay.

One thing we know for certain after Thursday night is that taking your talents to South Beach is a winning proposition. LeBron James left his home to come to Miami with Dwyane Wade and now that they’re headed to the NBA Finals, maybe King James owes D-Wade some thanks for helping him get back to the top of the mountain. Perhaps a borrowed colorway would do nicely? Check out these new images of the Jordan Fly Wade ‘South Beach’, a colorway something like the inverse of the mega-hit ‘South Beach’ LeBron 8 that adds art deco accents to a black/white base. The release date has still yet to be announced, but it could be perfectly timed should the Heat go on to win the NBA Championship, and either way, you can see more images when you click on the jump below. via in52

The Nike Lunarglide 2 hit the streets this March as part of a four-piece ‘City Pack’ and now another Nike Running model will debut with a similar localized drop. Here’s a new round of images from the Nike Free Run+ 2 Quickstrike ‘City Pack’, the Tokyo pair done in all black with a grey speckled Free sole. This model features the same ‘MMXI’ tongue tag, insoles and colorblocking as the other pairs, but will sneakerheads have a chance to collect the entire set? That remains to be seen but we do know for sure that the Tokyo Free Run+ 2 has hit Nike Harajuku and a couple other Tier Zero accounts in Japan, so click through to see some new photos and stick with Sneaker News for word on a possible US release date.

If achieving the mythical 3000 hit milestone is like running a career-long marathon, Derek Jeter is sitting just a single lap around the track from immortality. But really, Jeter’s has been a Hall of Fame career path for many years now and this latest mark is just icing on the cake for one of the all time greats. Two new looks from his tenth Jordan Brand signature are on the way, and both Jordan Jeter Cut colorways look quite snazzy with their lenticular tongue tag. You can pick between black and tonal grey pairs when they hit retailers this June and July, respectively, and you’ll see more images when you click on the jump below.

It wasn’t exactly a ‘dream season’ for Kobe Bryant this time around, but though his dreams of matching Michael Jordan’s three-peats is dust in the wind, his secondary signature line will keep going strong in the AP market. Check out the new Nike Dream Season III release in a colorway that’s similar to the line of Zoom Kobe VI releases this year. They’re not a full-on Lakers look, but rather a mix of black, whtie and purple that adds an extra edge thanks to Metallic Silver accents. The Zoom Kobe Venomenon (which was initially thought to be the DSIII) and KB24 are also seeing new colorways released, so is this the best Kobe takedown model currently available? Click through to see some more angles and stick with Sneaker News for word if they become available stateside. via Kicks-Crew

Last month, Complex.com published ‘A Complete Guide to Seinfeld’s Sneakers’, a look at the kicks Jerry wore on his seminal 1990′s sitcom. Sneakerheads have long admired the quality and quantity of vintage heat you can see in re-runs something like twenty times a day, but if the list were geared toward Seinfeld’s sidekick, it’d be a simple one page homage to the Nike Cortez. This 1968-born runner was George Costanza’s favorite shoe, a classic model that looks just as fresh as it did upon its debut or fifteen years ago, thanks to these two new colorways. One matches a Mineral Blue upper with a Bright Mandarin sole stripe for a slight Miami Dolphins nod while the Obsidian and Honeycomb edition is close to the Michigan Wolverines. In that case, maybe they’re not ‘Costanzas’ at all, but something of a ‘Chad Henne’ pack, and no matter the inspiration, you can find them at Nike Sportswear retailers like Size?.

About six weeks ago, Sneaker News showed you images of a new Nike Air Max Trainer 1+ that’d just hit NikeStore. The model was mostly white with Varsity Royal and Volt that drew comparisons to the upcoming LeBron 8 V/2 Low ‘Sprite’. So when a slightly different version just popped up with the same Style code, we had to get to the bottom of the situation. And as it turns out, the nearly-oppositely blocked edition pictured on their site is actually a sample model nixed in favor of the production model we showed you in the NikeStore drop. Click through to see more photos, let us know if you like the production model more than the sample, and if so be aware that’s what you’ll receive when you order from Eastbay.

adidas Originals’ Remodel series offers subtle revisions on classic Three Stripes models and the above pictured pair finds itself a reference to one of adidas all-time best running designs. The adidas EQT Remodel is designed after the fan favorite Equipment Support ’91 but this new release feels quite fresh thanks to a unique colorway that blends black with neon green and a peculiar shade of dark blue that’s somehow almost like an intermediary between those two colors. Click through so you can see some additional angles and then grab a pair from TGWO.

Jordan Brand’s latest addition to its July 2011 Footwear Collection comes in the form of two Jordan Team ISO Low colorways. Low-cut sneakers are very much a welcome addition to any summer-time wardrobe and footwear rotation, so let’s take a closer look at these two upcoming releases. Both the ISO Lows are similar to upcomng Air Jordan III releases (the Stealth and True Blue) and feature Zoom Air cushioning at the forefoot. Expect both of these new Team ISO Low releases to hit Jordan Brand retailers this July, so take a look at both after the jump and let us know what you think.

Despite what Ellen Page would have you believe, there are still plenty of bees buzzing around during the summer months and Nike Sportswear is getting ready to let one fly. Here’s a brand new colorway for the Nike Hachi lifestyle chukka, a super-simple black and grey suede construction that leans slightly toward its inspiration (built from Nike Sting, ‘Hachi’ Japanese for ‘bee’) thanks to a pale yellow sockliner. They’re not as eyecatching as the initial Quickstrike releases, but that could make for a more versatile end result; do you like what you see? Click through to see more images of this Q3 colorway and stick with Sneaker News for updates like the US release date. via HS
