Tomorrow, Eric Koston will have officially solidified himself as one of the great Nike athletes that have left behind storied legends. Koston joins one of Nike’s newer wings – Nike Skateboarding – during a time where skating is viewed as no longer an activity for the rebellious and mischievous, but for the meticulous. Skating is as much an art form as it is a means of getting from point A to point B, and the Nike SB Zoom Koston 1 takes the classic skate shoe to another level, using Nike Lunar cushioning as the primary comfort agent. Three colorways are set to hit Nike SB retailers tomorrow, so take a look at this great set of detailed images courtesy of CtotheJL and hit up your local Nike SB account tomorrow, or snag a pair now on eBay.

What else could you expect? Koston is considered – in many circles – to be the best skater still competing. If the Birdman is the MJ of skating, then Koston is easily the Kobe. The best players in the game always have the most hyped player models.
