The Nike ‘scrapped sample’ pile is a heaping one, especially in Nike SB quarters. Check out this unreleased sample of the Nike SB Dunk Low in a simple Khaki/Black colorway with a full gum outsole. It seems innocuous enough for a release to have easily happened, but for some reason this basic tw0-toned colorway never made it to store shelves. A 2009 production date shows that these are from the thin-tongue era, when the perception of the Nike SB Dunk was vastly altered; the SB Dunk wasn’t much of a ‘collectible’ shoe anymore, and the lack of the fat tongue didn’t give it that visual edge that earlier SBs so easily achieved. However, the colorway is still one of the nicer ones we’ve seen, so check out the images below and peep the auction from cheapskates9107 on eBay.
