adidas adiPower Howard 2

Likely due in some part to his Orlando Magic’s disappointing first round loss in this year’s NBA Playoffs, we’ve not seen anything new regarding Dwight Howard’s adidas Basketball signature line in a few months here on Sneaker News.  But despite the early exit, D-12 seems intent on staying in O-Town, and here’s our first look at what he’ll be wearing during the second half of the season.  The adidas adiPower Howard 2 finds itself in the unique position of following up a model that we’ve neither previewed nor has a clear name.  Whether Dwight starts 2011-12 in the ‘adiPower Howard’ or ‘Superbeast 2′ and for how long he’ll wear that model remains to be seen, but you can see more of what figures to be Dwight Howard’s 2012 playoff sneakers after the jump, and be sure to stick with Sneaker News for the US release date.
