In 2010, the final year of the strapped SB Dunk Mid, Nike SB released a yellow/black/white colorway of the Mid that was quickly given the ‘Wu-Tang’ nickname for its semblance to the uber-limited Nike Dunk High ‘Wu-Tang’ (DJ Greg Street wore a pair to Sneakerpedia NYC). Here’s a look at a sample version of the colorway, featuring contrast red stitching on the upper as well as additional red on the inner lining and the ‘SB’ logo on the strap. The use of red gives these a completely different appeal (almost no Wu-Tang about it), so which of the two do you prefer? Some might like the released version, others may prefer these samples (for the sake of variety). Check out the images below and if you’re interested in these, head to the auction from cheapskates9107 on eBay.
