In 2006, the Miami Heat defeated the Dallas Mavericks in six games. In 2011, the Mavericks returned the favor by winning the final three games of the Finals and capturing the franchise’s first ever NBA Championship. Dirk Nowitzki, Jason Kidd, Jason Terry, and the rest of the Mavericks were all smiles, while a deflated Big Three were reduced to expressions of disappointment and tears. Finals MVP Dirk Nowitzki struggled for the first half of the game, only to have his slack picked up by Jason Terry and Jose Juan Barea. Dirk eventually righted his target scope for the second half, hitting clutch buckets when they mattered the most. LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, and Chris Bosh, who spoke of multiple championships before the season started, entered Game 6 refreshed and ready for action. The Big Three started off strong, but in the second half, LeBron’s passivity on both ends and Wade’s recklessness made it tough for the Heat to keep up with Dallas’ high-percentage scoring. In the end, Mark Cuban and the Mavericks have plenty to celebrate, and the Heat have a long off-season to mull things over. "we all respect lebrons decision"? not buying that… lets see how he could have done it. we could all hear about it on espn and go on with our day or we could see one hour show (it wasn't even an hour before you found out) and raise $2,000,000 for the kids. really? you would rather not raise that money for kids, i mean nobody had to watch the show you would find out instantly on espn right after so whats the big deal? its because its Lebron thats why we are hating. Dirk is a great player got the Peyton Manning kind of likeability, i'm a fan of his Jason Kidd, Peja and Chandler. But we grilled Lebron for walking out at the end of the game with no handshakes that's what Dirk did. Headed straight for the locker room. Regardless of what sick comments were made you should shake hands and allow a congratulations/kinds words. Lets not over analyze everything Lebron and hate on it and not do the same to other players who do it too. Stop talking about Jordan vs Lebron they are different players, different eras, different team player formulas (Cleveland/Miami), Jordan got more polished in college Lebron made the jump straight into the pros. No reason to defend Lebrons Finals performance but same goes for Wades in the previous series but he did not get the scrutiny that Lebron got. Finals breakdown or eastern conference finals breakdown are the practically the same but if you don't get passed Chicago you are not even making it to the big dance. with that said Jordan is the GOAT, Great series Mavs you deserved it.

I aint hating on Bron cuz im Cleveland, cuz he's a very talented player, and i will never take that from him. But he doesnt have the hunger like a Jordan, Magic, or Bird. Dirk does, and stayed in Dallas knowing his time would come. thats all Bron had to do. Dirk is proof of persistance, not riding the heels of someone else for a easy ring. what about every star that never got a ring? there are acceptions to every rule. all Lebron had to do was wait for one star to come to CLEVELAND or wait for the owner whose never had anything positive about him said on ESPN because his comments make you shake your head as a cavs fan assemble a deep team. Gilbert didn't get it done and it didn't look like he was making the right moves to get that deep team and couldn't get a star to want to play in such a small market. his main downfall may be that he was drafted by a small market team. Drose and Dirk benefited from being on a big city team. I don't think anyone of us would stay at a job where you don't believe your boss was going in the right direction that would coincide with you future goals.

What I hate about Lebron the most is that this egotistical clown is a SORE LOSER. All one has to do is listen to his comments after Game 6 – the way he attacks the fans and the media and how he says they will go back to living their "sorry ass lives", which is the way he implied it. LOL. Face it Lebron. You're not Michael. You're not Magic. Heck, you're not even Kobe or Wade. Nothin' but Hype, just like a hypebeast.
But what I love most is how Lebron's hands were shaking so much at the podium and how he looked like a nervous wreck while he was answering questions at the press conference sitting next to Wade. Did y'all see how much his hands were shaking and how he was holding the microphone like a nervous 7-yr old kid at a spelling bee? What a joke. Lebron wanted to bite his nails and he knows it.
Bottom line: Lebron is NOT, I repeat…is NOT a prime time player. He doesn't step up to the challenge. He wilts under pressure. He cannot handle the heat of ridicule. And he will never soar to the same heights that Jordan, Magic, Bird, and Dr. J once did. He's just not cut from the same cloth. And that's a fact.

dude u r stupid. the main reason lebron left is b/c he had to win the games himself. he didn't have a jason terry shooting three pointers and jump shots , a jason kid or berrau handling the ball, a Shawn marion holding it down on the defensive end. lebron was in cleveland playing more minutes than anyone else in the nba. he had the carry the team so much, if he would've stayed in cleveland he prob would have played 2-3 less years in the nba cause they were using his ass so much. and cleveland is not his hometown, akron is. if u are born in Orlando your not gona say oh miami is my hometown are u??

and another thing, this past season, and even in the playoffs Lebron has STILL LOGGED MAJOR MINUTES!!! You see they give Wade some stretches of rest, but Lebron and sometimes Bosh are on the floor LONG stretches of the game, because there isn't anyone on the bench who could replace them without losing key offense and defense
