We just saw a Future Sole Melo M7 designed in celebration of Puerto Rican Day, but here’s another white, red and blue Jordan Brand release set to coincide with a similarly-themed summer holiday. The Air Jordan V Retro is a perfect sneaker to represent the July 4th holiday festivities, their patriotic, patent leather-based colorway as natural a fit for Independence Day as cookouts and fireworks. They’re undoubtedly one of the higher profile white sneakers that will hit stores this summer, but where do they rank in a 2011 that’s seen quite a few AJ5 designs? I don't know these come out after the retro foamposite pro. I don't think these going to sell out quickly. I'm wait for these to go on sale. All I know I'm getting the retro foamposite July 1st.

I for one like this shoe. I really like the colorway. And i dont really mind the patient leather. So i will be instant copping these. And if you like this shoe to the point you know you will buy it, I advise you buy it when it drops. Because we all know there are those people that love to just buy Jordans so they can resell them on Craiglists & ISS. And they're 5's. Im sure they're gonna sell quick regardless. So don't sleep on these if you wanna buy em.

I think I have to see these in person before making up my mind. I hated the original pics , but these don't look that bad. The patent leather is still kinda weird lookin but it looks like they toned it down a little and I kinda like these pics..

I like the color way but the patent leather means instant creases and im not feeling that i might pass these just because of the foams aswell
