In 2009, the Air Jordan VI was selected as the Air Jordan model for the Doernbecher Freestyle Collection, and what followed that late 2009 release was a slew of Air Jordan VI releases from January to June. Then in 2010, the Air Jordan III was selected for the Doernbecher Freestyle VII, and was released in late December – a release that preceded a number of Air Jordan III drops in 2011. If that is indeed a growing trend, then the news of the Air Jordan IV being included in the next Doernbecher Freestyle Collection makes all the more sense, since the Air Jordan IV White/Cement was confirmed for 2012 (as should other Air Jordan IV releases, considered it is in fact the 23rd Anniversary of the Air Jordan IV).
The Air Jordan III Doernbecher was a standout because it actually kept close to the trademark Chicago Bulls colorway. Keep in mind that these sneakers are designed by children with creative imaginations, going by their own instincts and now what’s ‘expected’ of an Air Jordan shoe. What hasn’t been confirmed is who the lucky young designer is, but what we can expect is the Air Jordan IV Doernbecher to release this Holiday 2011 season. Thank the lord! I missed all the other Dorenbacher's due to lack of $$$ but now I could grab onto the 4's as long as they're designed fairly well like the others.

i think the air jordan 5 should be in line after the 4. hence thhe: db1, db2, db3, db4, ???, and db6. just my opinion

This is gonna be one to look forward to. As long as the colorway/design of the shoe is executed well. I'm sure Jordan execs have some say in the final product, so hopefully it will be on the same level of the past couple Doernbecher releases….

i hope they are nothing like the 1s and 2s in my opinion those two are horrible, the 3s and the 6s are ill so i hope the 4s are done in a mild color way and not some crazy lookin fake shit

Doesn't matter for me. The DB4 is a MUST have no matter what the colorway. 4's = GOAT. Not everyone is a hypebeast.

Def gotta see what they look like first, but if they are a heat colorway then get ready to campout or get REAL lucky online at Nike.com because if not your gonna pay hypebeast prices. Hence look at what DB's are going for now, South Beaches, etc…
