Earlier today Sneaker News confirmed the release of the Air Jordan X ‘Chicago’ – the White/Black/Red classic Bulls colorway of the tenth Air Jordan signature shoe. We alluded to the fact that the upper would feature Michael’s trademark number ’23′ stitched by the ankle, so here’s a first look at the Air Jordan X ‘Chicago’, slated for a January 2012 release. The upper is completely white, and is paired with a black lace placket and a black/red outsole (note that the OG had a black midsole – these are a sample and the final version may very well be different). If these drop with that disgusting white midsole, then JB has gone mad. I mean, I understand changing the retro's a little bit, so there is sone kind of advantage when having the OG's, but they haven't done that to all of them, so please don't change this one JB. The "23" or "45" is ok with me (even though they'd look better without), but do not change anything else or fans/collectors will def be dissapointed…..we'll see

The advantage is the leather, I have the ogs of these and many others, and even the bin 23 jordan premio leather doesnt touch og leather, they can make them the exact same way, real recognizes real

and as far as collection purposes, that means they are gonna be chillin in the box for most of the time and they definitely aren't bringing back that box, so, as a collector I am fine with the shoe being EXACTLY the same because even if on the surface they look the same, they dont. Just like OG XIs and 2001 XIs.
