Nike SB Killshot LR

The Dunk, Bruin, and Blazer are just some of Nike’s most prized classics that have been converted into skate form. You can now add the Nike Killshot to that list. This old school tennis shoe rocked by Jon McEnroe looks to make yet another comeback after its 2009 Retro release, grasping onto a skate-ready vulcanized midsole and a tonal upper. Much like the other slimmed down Nike SB releases like the V-Rod and Zoom Koston 1, the Nike SB Killshot LR offers a nice alternative in visual appeal while offering the same in skate performance. No worth on what comfort technology will be implemented into this new release, but a closer look reveals a neon green insole, which could point to yet another Nike Lunar skate shoe. Take another look below and stick with Sneaker News for more info. via EddieCruz.

fresh, i'll cop if the price is right

  2. Son God Says:

Yo if it's lunar it's not Vulc., and that's funny that you guyz have this high standard when it comes to sneaker knowledge and this Eddie Cruz dude didn't say anything about the SB missing from the swoosh.

  3. change the tongue SB Says:

Oh hello there Harbors! I see you've met the Koston 1s. Or are they just Omar Lows? Either way I think I get my point across.

These would be better if they looked exactly like the OG Killshots, but in all suede. let's see if Nike SB can salvage this shoe.

  4. HondaSI Says:

They are saying the insole is Lunar (just like Koston insole) not a midsole. So yeah, it very much could be vulcanized. Boring shoe, though.

  5. Aaron Hope Says:

LunarLon does not equal vulcanized rubber, but they're certainly not mutually exclusive, either. Take for example the SB Blazer: vulcanized sole construction, Zoom Air embedded on the insole.

See the Zoom Eric Koston 1 for a good example of the neon green LunarLon footbed: http://sneakernews.com/2011/05/07/nike-sb-zoom-ko

  6. Son God Says:

lunar insole in a vulc shoe wouldn't work Yo. it would have to be a cup sole shorty just like the Koston……
