Plenty of sneakerheads have voiced their opinion on Nike Sportswear’s VNTG pre-yellowing treatment, but here’s visual proof that those models do in fact represent an accurate portrayal of what happens when you keep kicks on ice for more than a few years. Check out this OG Air Jordan 1 in white and neutral grey that’s still deadstock some twenty-six years after its retail release. They look amazing save for the ankle collar, where the grey sections have peeled away, and though the buyer of this grail is quite unlikely to up and un-DS them, it’s quite a nice match for that aforementioned yellow midsole.
