Any time Jordan Brand releases a model with ‘Flight’ in the title (or stitched on the tongue), you can expect a look that hearkens back to the period between 1988 and ’90 when Air Jordans III-V were loosely connected to Nike Basketball’s explosive Flight lineup. So as a sequel to last year’s SC-1, the Jordan SC-2 owes its heritage not only to MJ’s pre-championship years, but also a gradual progression of familiar design reappropriation that also included the Flight 9. The SC-2 will take over the niche carved by those models, this first gold-on-black colorway perhaps most reminiscent of the AJ6 in DMP form. for some reason, i always detest any jordan brand shoes that are not retros.. but i dont mind these.. for some reason they just work.. i mean, they are not amazing, but they are decent.. probably cause they have the old school 89 feel to them, like a 3 or a 4.. better than the fly wades in my book.. might cop..

I just bought these yesterday to specifically play basketball in… but I can't bare myself to actually ruin the shoes. They feel great, and for the materials used, pretty light. And Yes they do remind me of the Jordan 3-4's. Wished it was ALL black with the minimal gold. The white midsole has go to go!
