Are you ready for the upcoming Nike Convention? No, we’re not talking about Sneaker Con in New York this Saturday, June 18th (though you owe it to yourself to be there if you can make it), but rather the Swoosh’s own arranged gathering. But in the case of the Nike Convention Low, it’s a reference to the way things are (were) commonly done, i.e. the combination of familiar early-mid ’80s basketball aesthetics into a new lifestyle model. And this new Japan-exclusive pack takes it a bit further, bringing in some classically ACG-style aesthetics to prove that this faux-baller has a rugged side.
