Wherever legendary rapper/sneaker aficionado Biz Markie goes, good times seem to follow. This past Sunday, Biz was the guest of honor as Packer Shoes and PRO-Keds held an old-school barbecue block party to celebrate the launch of the Biz x PRO-Keds 69er collaboration. Between the in-store and outside crowd, there were plenty of folks on-hand at the Packer shop in Teaneck, New Jersey to enjoy the entertainment and polish off an impressive spread of food and some cold refreshments provided by Pabst Blue Ribbon. Thankfully, there were some non-alcoholic beverages there for the younger crowd as well, as the BBQ quickly turned into an event for the whole family with many of the attendees eagerly bringing their kids along to meet The Biz and pick up their 69er Lo‘s. By the time the Diabolical Biz got on the turntables, the party had officially hit full swing with a variety of notable names like Stash, Kid Capri, DJ Neil Armstrong and the Sugar Hill crew dropping by to get in on the fun. Keep reading after the jump for a look at some of the day’s highlights and look for more from the Packer/PRO-Keds/Biz Markie team-up coming soon.
