After reporting last week that the Quai 54 edition of the Air Jordan V would be hitting House of Hoops this weekend, we are quite disappointed to announce that the release will not be happening. After sharing the original info received from a reputable source, differing stories began to emerge regarding the drop, and we have now definitively confirmed with Jordan Brand that there is no Stateside release planned for the Quais. We apologize for any confusion caused, and hopefully no one has started lining up yet. If you had your heart set on grabbing a pair this Saturday, you might wanna go to plan B before it’s too late and pick up a pair on eBay.

That is BS. I just called Nike and they confirmed that it is only a Euro release. I don't understand why there would not be a release in the biggest market of the world. I guess Jordan Brand don't like money. Wow what a dumb comment! Europe must only get 10% of the releases that the US gets. A few that immediately spring to mind: no South Beaches, Bin 23s, no Anniversary Editions, no Infrared Pack… We get hardly any SBs or Barkleys, no Pippens, no Foamposites (until today) no Griffeys, and only a fraction of the colourways of everything else. The only Euro exclusives that there have been recently are this and the True Blues (which you now have). The tournament was held in Paris, where is that – Minnesota? No, it's in Europe. Stop moaning!

Sad to say, its looking like a drought… by this time last year we knew for sure the Infrared Pack was dropping, no confusion. There is too much confusion about the Grape/ Laney that I highly doubt it will drop. But following JB's pattern the pack will be either a Paris release, or only releasing @ 2 locations in BOSTON and MIAMI…

Its crazy how the US really never gets any exclusive releases. Europe & the UK get everything. Like whats the deal with that?! US (Jordan-Heads) really had our HOPES on these. The only real but copps this year would have to be Cements, TBs, Black 5, Last Shots & ofcourse CONCORDS! i just bought the 2001 release yesterday. Well, u really never know. Anything can happen unexpectedly lol. Like those AJ 1 "Banned" for example. And those "potential rumors for 2012" are coming true from JB. Still that link to sneakerfiles doesn't make sense, quote: "…. this is only a rumor, but the pack is set to release July 2011." Could be at the beginning, middle or end of July. Anyway, lets hope we expect "more tricks up JB's sleeves". haha.
