continues his rise up the Sneaker News Celebrity Feet power rankings with yet another appearance in some Air Jordans, as he rocked the True Blue IIIs during a live performance at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco, CA. Wiz wore the True Blues once before during an appearance on BET’s 106 & Park roughly two weeks ago, and since then he’s been spotted in the Air Jordan VII Cardinal. We’ve got more images of Wiz Khalifa in the Air Jordan III True Blue after the jump, so take a look and let us know what you think.

Nike Air Griffey Max 1 Mariners Emerald | New Photos

Some would argue that the Colorado Rockies and Florida Marlins represented the epitome of early ’90s baseball aesthetics thanks to their use of unprecedented colors, but around the same time those teams were added to Major League Baseball in 1993, another team that’d been around a bit longer decided to change up their look as well.  The Seattle Mariners switched from the royal and gold look they’d sported since the team’s inception in 1977, to a teal-accented navy and silver look that better fit the team’s oceanic theme.  And along with this switch came the opportunity for a range of Ken Griffey Jr. trainers in the same color scheme, one that served to keep Nike’s early-’90s exuberance alive while allowing for some progress.  The Nike Air Griffey Max 1 came 3 years later, the above pictured colorway a near perfect reproduction of the ’96 original, save its use a color-inverted midsole plus Freshwater on the heel Swoosh instead of red.  Click through for a closer look at the ‘Mariners Emerald’ Air Griffey Max 1s via an AGS video featuring a different kind of ‘training’, and stick with Sneaker News for the exact release date.

Stussy x Nike Sky Force 88 Mid Official Images

Shawn ’s eponymous clothing label has been around for longer than many if not most Sneaker News readers, so if Nike Sportswear ever wanted to find a collaborator to add some shine to a classic basketball model, there are few brands better capable of doing so.  We’ve already seen them put out Blazers, Court Forces and All Courts, so the Stussy x Nike Sky Force ’88 Mid seems like a logical progression despite the brand being associated with surfing and skate culture.  But they’re also known to be intimately connected with golden era hip-hop, too, so this half-camo/half-tonal four-pack can be seen as an amalgam of all these influences.  Click through to see more shots of all four pairs of Stussy Sky Forces scheduled to release in July and stick with Sneaker News for the US release date.

Jordan Alpha 3% Hoop

In 1999, Jordan Brand unveiled the Jordan 3 Percent, a Team Jordan shoe that signified Michael Jordan’s unparalled work ethic and training regimen. The ’3 Percent’ comes from body-fat count that Michael maintained during his playing days, an astounding state of physical fitness which has had a direct result in six of his NBA Championships. In July, Jordan Brand will re-release the Jordan 3 Percent with some changes – namely the visible Max Air unit on the heel and redesigned upper detailed etchings on the midsole. Three colorways will drop next month – Black/Red, White/Grey/Blue, and White/Black/Gold – so continue reading for a thorough look at all three and let us know what you think of the new Jordan Alpha 3% Hoop.

Jordan CP3 Advance White Black Red

Jordan Brand athlete just wrapped up the fourth installment of his signature line with the Jumpman, but before the debut of the CP3.V, the summer season will feature the Jordan CP3 Advance – a retooled version of the Jordan CP3.IV. The advancement comes in the form of a carbon-fiber composite stability wing at the midfoot and medial toe guard, allowing for greater torsional control while reducing the weight of the shoe. Some of the design elements remain, like the Jumpman logo at the heel and the Podulon technology on the midsole. These are expected to hit Jordan Brand retailers soon as they’ve already arrived overseas, so check out the detailed images below and let us know what you think of the CP3 Advance. via SoleMovement.

Nike SB Dunk Low UK Passport

Sneaker News first previewed this burgundy and gold colorway of the Nike SB Dunk Low back in mid-January, which we now know as one of the two colorways of the ‘Passport Pack’. The ‘Passport Pack’ includes two basic two-toned colorways of the low-top SB Dunk with colorways taking after official passports from the UK and the US. The Burgundy/Gold colorway takes after the former, with the pebbled/tumbled suede mimicking the texture seen the covers of the inter-continental travel passes. A U.S. version in navy and grey will drop later this year, but you can catch the UK Passport version at select Nike SB retailers like Primitive right now as an in-store only ‘Below The Line’ release.

Nike Air Max 1 July 2011 Colorways | Available

On two occasions prior to today, Sneaker News has previewed the Nike Air Max 1 lineup slated to hit store shelves in July.  The initial AM1s from Nike Sportswear for fashion’s Fall 2011 season, these new Eighty-Sevens take on a warm, almost wooly look thanks to tonal suede and textile in a range of cold weather colors.  The black pair previewed alongside them is conspicuous by its absence, but that doesn’t mean you can’t still grab the Obsidian and/or Team Red editions.  Click through to see closer views of those two pairs and look for them at select NSW retailers like Premier, or you can find the Team Red and Obsidian colorways now on eBay.

Nike Air Total Griffey Max 99 2012 Retro

Ever since the ‘Fresh Water’ Air Griffey Max 1 hit retailers in early 2009, Ken Griffey Jr.’s signature line has enjoyed quite a bit of attention from Nike Sportswear.  We’ve seen a variety of AGM1 colorways along with the Air Max JR hybrid built from its vamp, the AGM II and an upcoming Air Max Griffey Fury in the same mold as the JRs.  The way things are going, we’re going to see each of the models with his Swingman insignia hit store shelves again, and the world moves one step closer to that reality with news of the Nike Total Griffey Max 99 coming back around next year.  It looks like the original white/blue look has seen its yellow accents pushed toward a more neon shade like Volt, while if indeed that is a red Max Air cushion on the black edition, it too has seen a cosmetic change in the lateral ‘wave’ that was tonal the first time around.  Click through to see more of the 2012 Total Air Griffey Maxes and stick with Sneaker News for more photos and their release dates.  via All Day

Nike Zoom Kobe VI Lower Merion Aces PE New Images

Kobe Bryant will undoubtedly be remembered as one of the NBA’s all-time greats, and also as one of the select few ballers in the ’90s-’00s who parlayed high school stardom into a successful pro career.  Bryant rose to national prominence as a member of the Philly-area Lower Merion Aces, a school he continues to support with exclusive models like the Nike Zoom Kobe VI PE pictured above.  In these new images of the Aces Zoom Kobe VI, we can see that they do indeed stay true to form for the series with a tonal grey look, these new photos offering a much truer look at what to expect.  Click through for a closer look, let us know what you think of the Lower Merion HS ZK6 PEs and if you wanna grab a pair before they see a (likely limited) retail release, grab yours today from Kicks-lab.

Air Jordan XIII Ray Allen 3 Point Record PE

made noise in mid-February when he showed up for a pre-game shootaround wearing two different golden Air Jordan player exclusive colorways.  Ray’s AJIXs added a green lace to the Bin 23 edition, while his Elevens opted for a green sole instead.  The former was a super-limited retail release so we can let that slide, but when you take a model that’s perhaps the overall fan favorite from the entire Air Jordan Legacy, and see it historically overshadowed by another model, you know we’re talking about something special.  And in the Air Jordan XIII Ray Allen PE pictured above, we have just that: a beloved silhouette in an unprecedented colorway created to commemorate Allen’s entry in the NBA record books.  Click through for a closer look at this House of Hops exclusive and stick with Sneaker News for the US release date.  via Air-Randy

Nike LeBron 8 Grand Finale Customs

Sneaker customizer MizzeeCustoms has had a successful run of the customs, but it’s time to hang ‘em up for good and move on to the next series of projects. Or is it? For his next set of custom LeBron 8s, paid tribute to the 2011 NBA Finals by making not one, but two new colorways – one for the and one for the Dallas Mavericks. The Miami custom is a close call to the Nike LeBron 8 P.S. Home PE that LeBron wore; using the Black/Red LeBron 8 V/1 as a base, the Miami version features a white upper with a red midsole and yellow accents on the swoosh border, figure-8 lace eyelet, midsole speckling, and more. The ‘Veteran’s Day‘ colorway was used as the base for the Mavericks edition, which features a tonal navy blue upper with a repainted photo blue tongue, matching laces, and speckling on the Air bag. Continue reading for a detailed look at both the Nike LeBron 8 ‘Grand Finale’ customs after the jump and let us know which of the two you like better.
