Nike SB Dunk Low Premium Space Jam | Release Date

Ever since pictures of the ‘Space Jam’ Nike SB Dunks first surfaced, sneakerheads have been hungry for this one. Several delays later and the hype is now at a fever pitch, but thankfully a release date is finally upon us. The Premium ‘Space Jam’ will be a quickstrike release at select Nike SB accounts on July 23rd, a release date that is a less than subtle homage to the man who first made the Space Jams famous. This colorway of course mimics the infamous Jordan XI of the same name, with a mix of patent leather, mesh, even an icy sole to complete the package. It’s safe to say this is one of the biggest Nike SB releases for 2011, so make sure to mark your calender because they are guaranteed to sell out with the quickness. Hit the jump for some more photos of the hotly anticipated Premium ‘Space Jam’. via NSB

Air Jordan XIV Light Graphite Midnight Navy Black

The Air Jordan XIV is synonymous with Michael Jordan’s ‘Last Shot’ – the go-ahead jumper that won Michael his sixth NBA Championship in six full seasons. Designed after his Ferrari, the is considered to be the ‘sleekest’ design, using swift lines and stitch patterns that accentuated the sexy form of the shoe. Throw in the rubber heel, the wing spoiler on the tongue, and the aggressive ‘body kit’ and you have the perfect ending to Michael’s illustrious Chicago Bulls career. After an original release in 1998, the Air Jordan XIV was re-released in 2005 in a number of Original and Retro colorways, and in October 2011, the XIV returns once more in this Georgetown Hoyas colorway of Light Graphite, Midnight Navy, and Black. The grey nubuck upper features contrasting materials – smooth and pebbled – with the midsole adopting the black/midnight navy combination. It’s almost like a rearrangement of colors of the Air Jordan XIII Flint, but still an all-new colorway in its own right. Expect these this October, so check out the detailed images and let us know what you think. via MN.

Arriving for the beginning of the second half are these new releases from Nike SB, which includes the Nike SB Dunk High ‘Red Devil’, inspired by the ‘True Red’ SB Dunk Low, as well as a new SB Dunk Mid in a basic White/Red/Black colorway (think of it like a leather version of the Ryu Mids). Premier skateshop has these July releases in early so check out all six after the jump and let us know which pair stands out the most!

We’ve got complete images of all five after the jump so take a look and watch for these at Nike Basketball retailers soon.

Nike SB Zoom Stefan Janoski Mid Blackout | Available

The Nike SB Zoom Stefan Janoski series is known for having some of the cleanest colorways in the skate sneaker world, something you’d expect from the first skateboarding shoe ‘mature’ enough to infuse classic boat shoe inspiration.  In fact, the Stefan Janoski signature is so simply satisfying that despite using the same colors as its initial release, this new Mid looks quite fresh in black and white.  That’s because of the blocking on this new pair, which eschews all white save the tongue tag embroidery in favor of a blacked-out look that’s considerably more aggressive than the first black/white joints.  Click through for a closer look at this ‘Below the Line’ release available exclusively in-store at select Nike SB retailers, and look for yours at shops like MIA.

Andy Milonakis Buys Nike SB Dunk High Dr. Feelgood Sample

The Nike SB Dunk High ‘Dr. Feelgood’, which released in March of 2008, was a tribute to Motley Crue and its ’89 album ‘Dr. Feelgood’, long considered the band’s greatest work. The upper mixed suede with other reptilian textured materials, but the earlier sample version utilized a funky tiled material that copied the bathroom-tile background on the Dr. Feelgood album artwork. The alleged 1-of-1 samples were in stock at RIF in Los Angeles, until comedian/internet personality Andy Milonakis purchased them and added it to his stash of pancakes and sneakers. Check out the samples after the jump and let us know if the samples are better than the released versions!

Missoni x Converse Auckland Racer

Missoni already used Converse’s most popular model in a series of collaborations over the past couple years, so for their latest project, the Italian fashion house turned to a considerably more obscure silhouette.  Just be honest for a second: do you own a pair of Converse Auckland Racers yet?  This insane new -designed pair might change that answer to yes, this 1970s runner having never looked crazier than these two pairs in its five decades of existence.  The material on these looks highly texturized, which leads us to believe they wouldn’t be all that great for actual running purposes, but for running the streets, there’s not a whole lot out there that’ll draw double-takes like these babies.  Click through to see more angles and stick with Sneaker News for word on a possible retail release (though unfortunately, it seems unlikely as of this writing).

Air Jordan V Quai 54 Black

July 2nd is the official U.S. release date of the Air Jordan V Quai 54, limited to House of Hoops locations. Things are about to get a bit trickier because there will be an alternate version of the Air Jordan V Quai 54 in an ‘Away’ black upper. Unlike the first white leather version of the Air Jordan V Quai 54, the glaring difference is obviously the black nubuck upper, which creates a whole new appeal when paired with Radiant Green. Nubuck and tumbled leather have completely different textures and visual appeal, so the question is, which of the two do you prefer? The Black Air Jordan V Quai 54 will be limited to just 54 pairs, but no surprise that DJ Clark Kent has a pair of his own. An additional shot lies ahead so take a look and stick with Sneaker News for more information on this new development.

Nike Zoom Hyperfuse 2011 LA Sparks Available on eBay

On June 21st, the Los Angeles Sparks, one of the original eight teams that made up the Women’s National Basketball Association, celebrated its 15th Anniversary. The Sparks boasted a star-studded roster led by Lisa Leslie, who finished her career with three WNBA MVP trophies and four Olympic gold medals. In honor of the 15-year milestone, Nike Basketball released a very limited run of the Nike Zoom Hyperfuse 2011 in the LA Sparks official colors of Yellow, Purple, and Blue, with a mere twenty-four pairs hitting Nike Vault. Certainly one of the more unique Nike Basketball releases in recent memory for its WNBA ties and super-limited availability, the Zoom Hyperfuse 2011 ‘LA Sparks’ should garner quite an amount of auction bids, so take a look for yourself from this listing from havorishsole on eBay.

Nike SB Dunk Low Deep Burgundy Metallic Gold

2009′s ‘Ron Burgundy’ Nike SB Dunk Low was symptomatic of a time when Swoosh skateboarding looked to pop culture for references more often than at any other point in its history.  Recent months have seen revitalized classic colorways and simply satisfying old school skate looks are back on top, so you could think of this new Dunk Low Pro SB as the same skating goodness, just minus the ‘Ron’.  And that leaves you with a rich suede upper, the middle panel of which is tumbled and set off by the Metallic Gold Swooshes.  Click through to see more angles and look for these as part of Nike SB’s July 2011 ‘Below the Line’ footwear collection (in-store only) at select retailers like MIA.

Nike Air Max 90 Sport Red White Navy

New colorways of the Nike Air Max 90 are never a bad thing, especially when summer time rolls around. The sunny days mean you can rock them without fear of busting them up, and a pair of shorts is a great combo with this classic 90′s runner. Check out this new colorway in a Sport Red/White/Navy set up, a combination that has some pop to it but doesn’t go overboard on the colors just for the sake of standing out. The contrast of the white and red that hits all over this leather Nike Air Max 90 works really well, making this a super clean shoe from Nike Sportswear. Check out some more pictures after the jump and hit up Sneaker Bistro to grab a pair.

Nike Air Shox Hyperballer July 2011 Releases

Nike Air + Nike Shox = Nike Air Shox. It’s a simple formula that seems to work just fine, as it was introduced first on a few Nike Runners last year, like the Nike Shox NZ 2.0 that released as part of the Air Attack Pack. Now Air Shox is used for Nike Shox’s long-awaited mainstream return to Nike Basketball, and this July 2011 will be like the early 00′s all over again, when Nike Shox basketball kicks were considered ‘rockable’ thanks to the Shox VC line and other classics like the Shox BB4 and Shox Stunner, among others. Three new colorways of the Nike Air Shox Hyperballer will drop next month – the previously previewed Wolf Grey/Sport Red, a Black/Photo Blue, and a White/Sport Red-Black. More images below, so take a peek and watch for these to hit Nike Basketball retailers next month.
