Nike Air Force 1 High Obsidian Grey White

Last year we saw the release of the Nike Air Force 1 Low ‘Five Boroughs’ Pack, a set of New York flavored sneaks dedicated to the urban landscape of the Big Apple. Here we have an Air Force 1 High that seems to pay homage to NYC in a subtler way, with a Yankees like colorway of Obsidian/Grey/White. The perforated leather that hits on the heel area of this Air Force 1 High, mixed with the clean white of the swoosh and outsole, certainly gives them the same feel as the ubiquitous Yankee hats that Jay-Z claims to have made more famous than a Yankee can. Follow us after the jump for more pics of this summer Nike Air Force 1 High. They are slated for an early July release but have started to hit some retailers already, so you can pick up a pair now from 95soleman on eBay.

Burn Rubber x New Balance 2012 Teaser

Throughout the Distinct Life x New Balance 30 for 30 project, Rick Williams showed us his arsenal of NB’s, rocking a different New Balance shoe for every day in the month of June. We knew the Burn Rubber x New Balance MT580 would show up in there somewhere since Rick is the co-owner of that fine Detroit establishment, but he threw us for a loop on Day 30, rocking the next collaboration between Burn Rubber and New Balance, slated for a 2012 release. He’s keeping them fairly secretive, as you can see from the “censored” view above, but there’s no doubt these are gonna be hot. Hit the jump for the full video of the New Balance 30 for 30 project, where you can see each sneaker Rick rocked this month and stayed tuned with us for more photos as soon as they surface. via The Distinct Life

Nike Zoom Hyperfuse 2011 Available @ NikeStore

Ready for the next chapter in the Hyperfuse saga?  Nike has applied their cutting edge fabrication method to a variety of models including the Air Max+ 2011, Air Jordan 2011 and even Nike Sportswear classics like the Air Force 1 and Dunk.  But the initial Hyperfuse model was inspired by Beijing’s burgeoning basketball scene, and the Nike Zoom Hyperfuse 2011 proves itself a suitable heir to that legacy.  The Hyperfuse 2011 is just as good outdoors as it is inside on hardwood, the ultra-lightweight breathable uppers durable enough to take any kind of punishment you can imagine.  Click through to see the seven new colorways that just popped up on NikeStore and let us know which one(s) you’re getting.

Nike LeBron 9

Much has changed in LeBron James life since Sneaker News showed you the initial images of the Nike LeBron 8 about a year ago.  He’s gone from arguably the world’s most popular basketball superstar to something like a WWE heel, a character we simultaneously revile and replay ad nauseum.  LeBron got closer than ever before to his first NBA championship this year, and with the Miami Heat’s nucleus in tact, there’s a pretty strong chance he’ll finally grip the chip while wearing the new Nike LeBron 9.  These joints are still being held under wraps with only the tease-iest angles being shared at this point, but it’s clear this black and red LeBron IX features its fair share of carbon fiber, in addition to what appears to be Nike Hyperfuse material on the rear.  Click through to see all the pieces of this puzzle and stick with Sneaker News for more Nike LeBron 9 photos and the eventual release date.  via CK

Celebrity Feet: Fabolous Air Jordan VI White Varsity Red

Hip-hop veteran Fabolous has been synonymous with the Air Jordan V of late, first showing up in the Quai 54 edition that released at Paris’ House of Hoops last weekend and more recently in the black Q54 pair that was limited to a 54-pair run.  Regular Sneaker News readers will recall this isn’t the first time Fab showed favor to a particular model, as last year he was spotted on several occasions in 2010′s white and Varsity Red Air Jordan VI Retro.  Whether he has a hundred pairs on ice or keeps coming back to the same kicks remains a mystery, but you can see in these new images that Fabolous is indeed enjoying the AJ6 steez once again this summer; which was his better look?  Click through for more images and leave a comment to let us know what you think.  via CL

Supra Indy Pack

It was just yesterday that we remarked on how Supra seems to be dropping a ‘color’ pack with what seems to be daily frequency, and with the summer’s biggest holiday falling on this extended weekend, the time is right for another themed trio.  Supra’s Indy Pack goes a different route from the various holiday and colorway groupings we’ve seen this year, the Supra TK Society, Skytop and Vaider appearing in red, white and blue Gunny TUF material, respectively.  Click through for a closer look at each pair, let us know which reigns supreme and celebrate your freedom of choice with a pair of these available at select Supra shops and their own e-store.

Nike Zoom Kobe VI Lower Merion Aces PE New Photos

Ever since April’s ‘Black Friday’, it’s been quite difficult for Americans to find a pair of aces online.  The fate of the online poker world remains in limbo, but it’s not much of a gamble to predict that the Lower Merion Aces will continue to receive sick player exclusive colorways courtesy of their most famous alum.  The Nike Zoom Kobe VI ‘Aces’ might be the best one yet, its tonal grey Flywire shell giving way to red accents and a white-ish sole that almost looks like it’d glow in the dark.  These are shaping up to be one of the last big ZK6 releases before the Zoom Kobe VII comes out in late 2011/early ’12, so click through for a closer view and let us know if you plan to get a pair.  via in52

Swizz Beatz x Reebok Kamikaze Black

Sneaker News showed you a few different rounds of preview images depicting June’s releases from the Swizz Beatz x Reebok Kamikaze, but somehow this model remained under wraps.  Swizzy’s blacked-out Kamikaze III Mid NC adds just a touch of formality via a patent leather toe, the rest of the leather and nubuck design otherwise fairly neutral if slightly rugged.  So in all ways except for the shiny toes, these are by far the least flashy Swizz Beatz-designed Kamikazes yet; but could they be the best?  Click through to see more angles and look for these at RBK retailers like Mr. R Sports starting next Friday, July 8th.
