Last year Sneaker News gave you a detailed preview of an interesting pair of the Nike Air Max 1 that featured Nike’s latest Hyperfuse technology on the upper. Turns out, Nike had bigger plans for Hyperfuse than using it for performance models. Nike has chosen to Fuse out some of the biggest names in the Nike Sportswear heritage, like the Air Force 1 High, Air Max 90, and Dunk High. Those are set to release sometime in the Fall 2011 season, but the Nike Sportswear Hyperfuse collection has officially arrived as this new colorway of the Nike Air Max 1 Fuse has just become available at Nikestore. If you’re still not sold on the NSW x Hyperfuse hybridization, check out these new images below and let us know if you’d consider copping one of these releases.

Jay-Z’s got enough money stashed in his bank accounts to afford himself every Air Jordan ever made, but it’s clear that the Brooklyn-native has a clear favorite. Jay-Z was spotted once again wearing the Air Jordan III Retro from the 2008 Collezione Package – the Black/Cement Grey colorway that Michael won his first NBA All-Star Game MVP trophy in. He was spotted dining in New York City on Friday night, enjoying a casual meal based on his dressed-down attire (can’t get any simpler with Jordans, jeans, and a t-shirt). Check out Jay-Z in his Air Jordans below and stick with Sneaker News for more Celebrity Feet updates! via bossip.

Pictured above is one of those legendary models that needs absolutely no introduction, an all-time classic that still commands double takes two decades after its initial release. The Air Jordan V Retro in black with Metallic Silver trim is just like recent IIIs and IVs in its execution, a faithful reproduction of the 1990 original save the absent heel Swoosh that’s been replaced by a Jumpman. These will likely be among the most popular back-to-school releases with their proximity to the upcoming year, yet another feather in the cap of a silhouette that’s been immortalized by countless celebrity appearances. When you think of vibrant Air Jordan V colorways with a white base, the legendary ‘Grape’ from 1990 is bound to be first on the list. But that all-timer will have some competition this summer in the form of this year’s Quai 54 International Streetball Tournament showcase model. The Air Jordan 5 is being joined by the ISO 2 at the four European House of Hoops locations and select Foot Locker stores across the continent. US sneakerheads will then get their crack at this Radiant Green AJ5 come July 2nd when the Quai54 Air Jordan 5 hits stateside HoHes. Faux carbon fiber looks to be an ongoing theme for Jordan Brand’s Fall 2011 season; in July, you can expect a white carbon fiber Air Jordan 1 Phat, and in the coming months, a Black/Grey Jordan Six Rings fashioned in the material should release as well. Here’s a look at what to expect for August – another Air Jordan 1 Phat in a tonal black colorway, featuring the high-tech looking material on the upper. Like the Jordan Courtside we showed you earlier, this upcoming Air Jordan 1 release utilizes the famous ‘Black Cat’ motif, allowing zero elbow room for a secondary color to shine through. We’ve got additional images for you below, so take a look and stay tuned to Sneaker News for more Jordan Brand August 2011 releases.

The Air Jordan Legacy will serve as the unbreakable backbone for Jordan Brand, but that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t expect some new designs. We’ve already seen a nice collection of brand new models in 2011, like this upcoming Jordan Courtside, which draws inspiration from the Air Jordan III and Air Jordan IV. This tonal-black ‘Black Cat’ colorway features a the Air Jordan III midsole with a prominent heel-tab that should remind you of the Air Jordan IV, but most of the design seems to be brand new. What’s the perfect recipe for a fresh Air Max 90? Step 1, start with a strong two color combo for accenting that will stand out on the white base of the shoe. This new pair of Nike Air Max 90′s in White/Navy/Grey comes off looking like a more laid back version of the beloved Infrared’s, with a dark navy hitting on the mudguard and some nice doses of an almost cool grey found throughout the shoe. Nike’s lifestyle footwear has taken huge strides over the last few years, with shoes like the Nike Toki, inspired by older Nike models (like the Air Sabaku Mid), paving the way for more casual-inspired sneakers. These new Toki releases feature canvas uppers in tonal colorways – obsidian and iguana olive green – paired with clean white leather swooshes on the upper and on the heel tab. These simple two-toned colorways have a Blazer-like feel to ‘em, with with a more refined look that gives the Toki its trademark. END has both colorways available for a pre-order so take a look at both colorways below and stay tuned to Sneaker News for more release info.
