Jordan Team ISO 2 Quai 54

Earlier today Sneaker News gave you release information on the Jordan Brand Quai 54 Pack, which included the Air Jordan V and the all-new Jordan Team ISO 2. The Jordan Team ISO 2, the obvious successor to the Jordan Team ISO (included in last year’s Quai 54 releases), features a similar mid-cut construction as the original, but with a re-tooled upper; a triangular breathable mesh panel is located at the central portion of the shoe, with additional ventilation by the ankle. The midsole features a grey/black granite speckling and a radiant green stripe at the base of the midsole. These have dropped overseas in Europe already, but stay tuned to a U.S. release this July 2nd. via FootLockerEU.

Nike Sky Force 88 Mid Red Nylon Sample on eBay

Earlier this month Sneaker News gave you a look at the Nike Sky Force ’88 Mid Vintage Pack, which featured tonal nylon uppers and Nike’s trademark ‘Vintage’ treatment. One of those colorways features a rich tonal red nylon, much like this sample your see here, but there are some clear differences between the two. This sample version utilizes a red midsole and swoosh, and a hiking-boot like lacing fixture on the upper, much like the other tonal version we showed you during our Nike Sportswear Fall/Winter 2011 Preview. This sample Sky Force ’88 Mid also features a white inner lining and partial logo on the tongue. No word on a release just yet, but if you like what you see, cop this size 9 Promo Sample of the Nike Sky Force ’88 Mid from ginogreen201 on eBay.

Nike Zoom Hyperfuse 2011 Rajon Rondo Celtics PE

Rajon Rondo has emerged as the improbable future of select NBA point guards, joining the likes of Chris Paul and Deron Williams thanks to his passing and defense. While he may not be the most prolific scorer, he’s got the tools to be one of the best true point-guards of our generation, and to have him as one of the representatives of the Nike Hyperfuse 2011 is a smart move by the swoosh. Here’s a look at Rondo’s Zoom Hyperfuse 2011 PE; it features a two-toned green/black upper with a white swoosh and Rondo’s minimal ’9′ logo on the tongue. You can expect Rondo to wear these once the 2011-12 NBA Season kicks off later this year, but there should be more Hyperfuse 2011 PEs on the way for all of Nike’s top athletes. We’ve got another look for you after the jump so take a look and stick with Sneaker News for more Nike Basketball updates. via CK/CY.

adidas adiZero Rose 2.0 Grey Blue Electricity

With the NBA enjoying its most talent-rich period since the late ’80s/early ’90s, Derrick Rose will face a seemingly impossible task in repeating as NBA MVP.  But the simple fact that Rose is already the league’s youngest ever most valuable player stands as a testament to the preparation he received during a single year at the University of Memphis, along with four seasons at Chicago’s Simeon Career Academy.  This new adidas adiZero Rose 2.0 is designed with the Wolverines in mind, though the Electricity accents on this pair offer a considerably more exuberant take on their school colors than his 2011 All-Star adiRose 1s.  Click through to see more angles of the ‘Simeon’ adiZero Rose 2.0 and stick with Sneaker News for updates on what’s currently slated as a November release.  Thanks kham

Nike Air Trainer SC High White Grey Lemon | Available

Nike’s equal distribution of new models and Retro releases allows sneakerheads to maintain a nice balance in our footwear collections/rotations. While Nike is pushing its new Trainer designs, like the Nike Trainer 1.3, there’s also a strong focus in heritage, which Nike emphasizes by releasing some of its most respected models in new colorways. Sneaker News recently previewed this colorway of the Air Trainer SC High, one that was actually a ‘Retro’ colorway from 1999. These will begin to pop up in stores if they haven’t already, but you can get a pair online now by heading to Nikestore.

Nike SB Koston 1 Spring 2012

Eric Koston’s first Nike SB signature sneaker is also Swoosh skateboarding’s first LunarLon cushioned design, and it will begin its second year with a collection scheduled for spring of 2012. The Nike SB Koston 1 keeps it simple as always, the shoe’s one-piece suede upper and unique two-tone outsole allowing for potentially hundreds of simple yet satisfying palettes.  Two such colorways just so happen to be slated for Q1 of next year, with one going the earthy route and another vaguely reminiscent of the Chun-Li Dunk Low SB from last year’s Street Fighter Pack thanks to a gold toe complimenting its otherwise Dodgers-esque getup.  Click through for closer views of both and stick with Sneaker News for updates including the US release dates.  via N-SB

Sneaker Con NYC June 2011 Feet Recap

Sneaker Con returned to its home in New York City as over 2,000 sneakerheads convened in lower Manhattan for the biggest sneaker-centric buy/sell/trade event in the world. After a succesful showing in Washington D.C., Sneaker Con was poised for another record-breaking turnout for the June 2011 show, and the NYC-sneakerheads certainly came through. It was a packed house and the lines outside had to be moved to another area so as not to disrupt regular street-traffic, but once you came inside, it was a sight like none other. Of course Sneaker Con is the one occasion where you should wear your most prized possessions, and we some undeniable heat, like the upcoming Dark Pine and Retro Teal Foamposite Pros, the Cool Grey Air Jordan VI custom, and many more. adidas Originals was once again in the house, but there were a few more goodies, like the custom laser etched lace locks! If you were unable to attend the event, there’s no need to worry, because Sneaker Con may be moving to a city near you (Atlanta and D.C. are scheduled stops in the future). Check out this complete Sneaker Con NYC June 2011 Feet Recap and let us know which of the kicks is your favorite!

USATF x Nike LunarGlide+ 3

Nike won’t likely be facing any ‘Dan & Dave’-style competition at the 2012 London Olympic Games, so the Swoosh has apparently decided to offer their own polarized track-oriented promotion.  Check out these USA Track & Field x Nike LunarGlide+ 3s, a duo of patriotic colorways that sees the black edition in mens sizes and the ladies in white.  They’re limited to 450 and 250 pairs, respectively, and are available now at the USATF e-store.  Click through to see more angles and head over there to grab a pair, where members can order theirs now (and with a 10% discount!) in advance of the wider release there next week.  via EUkicks

Nike LeBron Air Max Soldier V Available

Thanks to the introduction of the P.S. series last year, the Nike LeBron Soldier line, originally LeBron’s postseason shoe, has become the off-season summer shoe. It still serves the greater purpose of supporting ballers nationwide, and the new design of the Soldier V adds some new elements seen in a small amount of other Nike Basketball kicks. It comes in two varieties, one featuring a stabilizing Flywire-laden upper shell and the other utilizing multiple perforations for a supreme ventilated comfort, but the most unique design aspect of the Soldier V is the unique lacing system and ankle strap, which rises from the in-step of the shoe and locks down on both the medial and lateral sides of the shoe. Certainly one of the funkier designs we’ve seen in a while, so check out the new images below and cop one of these three releases now at Nikestore.

Nike Zoom Hyperfuse 2011 LA Sparks @ Nike Vault

Since it opened at Staples Center in Los Angeles last September, Nike Vault has played host to a variety of special releases, all at least somewhat basketball related, and all but one connected to Lakers megastar Kobe Bryant.  The only exception was Blake Griffin’s All-Star Sunday visit in the wake of his Kia-leaping victory in the Dunk Contest, but the latest will honor the team for whom the WNBA’s very first jam was scored.  Check out this Mardi Gras LA Sparks colorway on the Nike Zoom Hyperfuse 2011, a festive look that’s sure to draw more male fans than the ladies’ Association itself.  The combination of this colorway on the second Hyperfuse model from Nike Basketball feels like something of an anachronism given the past few years of simple ‘mature’ palettes, and they’ll be available in honor of the Sparks’ 15th WNBA season starting at 5pm on Tuesday, June 21st.  Click through for more, let us know if you’re planning to get a pair and stick with Sneaker News for the latest Nike Vault release dates.
