The 2004-2005 NBA Season was a big one for Amare Stoudemire. At just 22 years of age, the prep-to-pro Forward/Center averaged a career high 26 points per game and earned a trip to the NBA All-Star Game alongside teammates Shawn Marion and eventual league MVP Steve Nash. For that All-Star Game, Amare was presented with this sick PE colorway of the Nike Air Force Operate, which featured a red/white/blue colorway with red/blue elephant print uppers and an All-Star Game logo at the center of the midfoot strap. The Air Force Operate was one of the most popular Nike Basketball shoe designs of the last decade, drawing inspiration from the Nike Barkley signature line while adopting a new set of details fit for STAT’s game. This rare PE has just popped up on auction and is about to wrap up, so check out the images below and check out the auction from crownsportsconnection on eBay.
