The Jordan BCT Mid is a new model from Jordan Brand for 2011, a design that seeks to extend Air Jordan technology beyond the realm of basketball. This cross trainer showed up first in the form of the Jordan BCT Low, and with the heightened designed of the mid comes a revamped shoe. The ankle coverage gets beefed up, with the previous forefoot strap getting bumped to the tongue, adding a layer of stability to the already successful design of the low. This darker colorway is also a little more in line with what Jordan aficionados expect when they here the term “Black Cat”, with the majority of the upper dipped in black save for the laces, heel clip, midsole, and various accents. I'm sure performance wise these are good, but I like the low top version better.
