The slimmed-down runner has been a popular genre over in Japan for years. Not long ago Jun Takahashi combined his UNDERCOVER label with Nike Running to produce a special capsule of high-tech running footwear and apparel, which included the Nike LunarSpider 2. Following the immense success of that collaboration, Japan’s Nike Harajuku just got in some new LunarSpider varieties – a red/blue LunarSpider LT+ 2, and the LunarSpider R 2, which features a unique cross-hatched shell upper. These form-fitting Nike runners are super-lightweight and carry that trademark sleek appeal that has been so desired overseas, so hit up Nike Harajuku if you’re in the area to cop a pair.
