Air Jordan XIV Light Graphite | Release Date

The Air Jordan XIV was released after Michael Jordan officially retired from the Chicago Bulls, but we all know he broke ‘me out a bit early and wore them for Game 5 and Game 6 of the 1998 NBA Finals. It wasn’t until 2005 that we finally got a re-issue of the shoe, and after the 2008 Collezione release, the Air Jordan XIV will make another surprising return later this year. Sneaker News first showed you this colorway of the Air Jordan XIV back in June, and here we have another look as well official release info for this anticipated Air Jordan release. October 8th is the date to circle on your calendars, so check out the new gallery below and let us know if these are a must-have for you. via Rstor.

I've never really been a 14 type of guy. But they have definitely grown on me

  12. Runforever954 Says:

With so much heat dropping in 2011, the XIV's are in the back burner for me. 2011 has been a really great year so fair with the release of so many Foamposites, Jordan III's, V's, and VII's. And of course the XI Concords are dropping at the end of this year. IMO, it goes in priority of XI Concords, Foamposites (I like both the Pine and Electric Blue), III Cement, III Stealth, XI Low IE, and then after all of those the XIV is last on the wish list in the remainder of 2011.

  13. sbtheghost87 Says:

    easy pass

  14. chosen 2 Says:

Huh game 7 of the 1998 NBA Finals I thought Chicago won the series 4-2 come on sneakernews get your facts straight. Games 1 thru 5 he wore da black playoff 13's game 6 was the only game he wore the14's. Of the six NBA Finals the Bulls played in none of them went to a game 7.

  15. JoseKingOfChicago Says:

These look nice as hell.. Definitely gonna cop me a pair!!

  16. Osama Bin Laden Says:

  21. Mike Says:

These need black lacess so baddddddddddddd

  22. J-Matt Says:

    Reading is fundamental homie.

  23. JoseKingOfChicago Says:

Wrong. MJ busted out the 14s during game 5 in Chicago. Do a little homework before you post on here, clown.

  24. Milwaukee Says:

The tumbled suede version gave it a more detailed look. looked better imo..

  25. mnm372 Says:

October??? seems like a lot of time to wait! by the way, rmkstore had them for few weeks already!

  26. rj7 Says:

No one in here told you to compare which one's better. (Damn little young sprouts!)

  27. rj7 Says:

If you read the entry correctly, it states that MJ wore 14's during games 5 & 6 in the 1998 NBA finals. Which is very much true…Playoff 13's were worn in the first half, then he switched to the 14's in the last half of GAME 5.
