Jordan Brand gridiron star Andre Johnson was spotted in a pair of Alpha Trunners shortly after the NFL’s labor troubles hit full swing in March and a couple more colorways hit retailers before we saw this all new design. Whereas the Alpha Trunner was a subtle update of a late-’90s original, the Jordan Trunner LX 11 brings a more radical revision to the table, eschewing laces altogether in favor of a woven midfoot strap enclosure. They started hitting stores in June but this Chicago Bulls-style colorway is probably the best so far thanks to its clean blocking and rich red suede, and you can see more images when you click through the jump below. Yea, I was thinking about making these my next gym shoes as well. My Trainer 1.2 are beginning to wear out.

You guys at Sneaker News DO realize that this is basically an "Alpha" Trunner LX, right? This is just an updated LX with an Air Max bubble, not an entirely new style with no laces.

you are talking about the LX2. That's one hell of a shoes to rock. Everytime JB releases these trainers, it seems like they're selling out very quick.
