Jordan Trunner 11 LX – Black – White – Varsity Red

Jordan Brand gridiron star Andre Johnson was spotted in a pair of Alpha Trunners shortly after the NFL’s labor troubles hit full swing in March and a couple more colorways hit retailers before we saw this all new design.  Whereas the Alpha Trunner was a subtle update of a late-’90s original, the Jordan Trunner LX 11 brings a more radical revision to the table, eschewing laces altogether in favor of a woven midfoot strap enclosure.  They started hitting stores in June but this Chicago Bulls-style colorway is probably the best so far thanks to its clean blocking and rich red suede, and you can see more images when you click through the jump below.  Let us know what you think of this August drop and stick with Sneaker News for updates on these and all Jordan Brand release dates.  via Dunk
