Jeremy Scott is known for messing around with tongues, lace accessories and pretty much anything else he feels like, but his latest adidas Originals by Originals design stands out just as much for its subtle quirkiness.  The new Jeremy Scott x adidas Originals JS SLM Bowling resurrects a slim (SLM — go figure) lowtop silhouette that only the most astute Three Stripes historian would recognize, their pointy-toed soles perhaps more familiar thanks to a Stan Smith-like traction pattern.  Scott created a classic All-American look you might expect to find at the local AMF with red lateral and blue medial sides giving way to cream tongues and gum rubber outsoles.  The tongue in cheek heel ‘8’ sums up the tone of this trip back in time quite nicely, and you can see these and more details when you click the jump below.  Let us know how these stack up against J.Scott’s more audacious designs and look for these at adidas Originals retailers like Atlanta’s Wish on Saturday, July 30th.
