Nike SB Dunk High Plum New Images

Sneaker News just gave you a look at the ‘Gold Dust’ Dunk Low SB slated for a September release and it turns out those aren’t the only SB Dunks dropping that month.  Check out the Nike SB Dunk High ‘Plum’, a model that takes its colorway from the 2001 Dunk Low Pro B by the same name, and one that adds to the growing list of 2011 Nike SB sneakers patterned after classic Swoosh Skateboarding colorways.  The referenced pair in this instance actually predates the SB branch by about a year, so they could be the very best redux especially when you take into account the apparently deluxe suede in use on these beauties.  There’s been some speculation that the immediately obvious richness of the materials could indicate a Quickstrike release, and while that has yet to be confirmed, they are certainly something special.  Click through to get a few more angles and stick wtih Sneaker News for the exact release date.  via N-SB

Air Jordan XI Concord 2011 Release

The Air Jordan XI Concord is shaping up to be one of the biggest Retro releases in recent memory. 2009′s Space Jam caused mayhem and the 2010 Cool Grey was comparatively subdued, but we expect the Concord drop (which we all can guess will be near the end of December) to be utter mayhem. It’s been ten years since the ‘Concord’ was released (nearly 6 if you count the DMP version), and Sneaker News readers already voiced their opinions regarding the best Air Jordans of all time because the won 2010′s March Madness tournament as the greatest sneaker of all time, and also 2011′s March Madness tournament as the best Air Jordan colorway of all time. Check out these new images of the biggest Air Jordan release of the year after the jump and let us know how badly you’ve been wanting these! via VMV.

Jordan Fly Wade Maya Moore All Star PE

It looks like only a matter of time before the NBA is left as the only major professional sports league in America felled by a labor crisis, so Jordan Brand might find itself in a position to give more attention to the WNBA than ever before.  So it’s a good time to have picked up the season’s #1 draft pick, Minnesota Lynx forward and Western Conference starting All Star Maya Moore rocking the Jumpman, her Jordan Fly Wade player exclusives offering different takes on the West’s orange attire.  The pair JB tweeted was mostly orange with black and white trim, but Maya came along later with ‘Raygun’-like and orange/white colorways for the first and second halves respectively.  The East picked up the W but Moore will likely be a perennial MVP candidate so be sure to check back with Sneaker News to see more Jordans.

Nike Dunk Low JordanTribute Customs by JBF

Sneaker customizer JBF has done most of his significant works on two different Nike Sportswear models, with about a half and half split of Blazers and Dunks getting the handmade touch.  His latest is another Nike Dunk Low, the latest iteration of which happens to be both very much alike and quite dissimilar from his carbon fiber designs last year.  On one hand, both these new joints and those old pairs relied on special materials, but instead of a technical lean, this new Swooshless model utilizes a textile on the underlay depicting each of the Air Jordan Retro cards, save the oft-maligned XV.  Click through to see more angles, let us know how these stack up to the ever growing list of Michael Jordan tribute custom sneakers and stick with Sneaker News for the best customs from around the world.

Nike SB Dunk Low Gold Dust

As we move further into the fall season and Nike SB’s future release schedule comes into focus, this new pair seems well timed to capture the vibe of turning foliage throughout the northern hemisphere.  The Nike SB Dunk Low has a rustic feel with Gold Dust canvas comprising nearly the entire upper, the only reprieve a black Swoosh in the same material to match the outsole.  White midsole (of course) and laces soften the look and a red sockliner has these looking more like an autumn tree than, say, an Iowa redux.  Click through to see more angles and stick with Sneaker News for updates including the exact date for this September 2011 release.  via N-SB

Nike Zoom Uptempo V Lakers | New Images

The quintessential Lakers colorway just seems to make any sneaker look its best, and even if you’re not a Laker fan (we trust there are many of you out there), you can’t deny that purple and gold. Check out this second look at the Nike Zoom Uptempo V in White/Purple/Yellow; this ‘Home’ Lakers colorway features white leather with the classic combo, finished off with a translucent outsole and the signature metallic pod on the upper. Again, these are likely an Asia release, as the Uptempo V is a popular selection out there, so peep the new images below and let us know what you think. via Rstor.

Jordan Courtside White Metallic Silver

The latest in a long line of Jordan Brand models to incorporate the Air Jordan III’s iconic midsole tooling with a new vamp is the Jordan Courtside, a model we first showed you about two weeks ago.  Since that initial preview, we’ve come to learn that a black pair and one in white with black and red accents are both slated for August releases, and here’s a look at another upcoming colorway that should probably come out sooner rather than later.  The white leather and Metallic Silver accents on this pair make it perfect for summer, and you can see more images when you click on the jump below.  Let us know what you think and stick with Sneaker News for more previews and this pair’s US release date.  via ClassicShoe

Nike WMNS Huarache Dance Low Chlorine Blue Peach Cream Total Orange

Just putting the word ‘dance’ in the name is enough to scare the majority of male sneakerheads away from the Nike WMNS Huarache Dance, but this latest colorway is cause for a pause and perhaps a sign that there’s more to this model than we’d seen.  The mix of Chlorine Blue with a Peach Cream lining and midsole plus Total Orange outsole gives these a Miami-style look without going the South Beach route.  Dolphins all the way, this sleek low-profile trainer for ladies is available now at Nike Sportswear retailers like Kix-Files.

adidas SLVR S M L Concept Black White Gum

Sneaker News first showed you the adidas SLVR S-M-L Concept back in April, its mix of insane Y-3 Kubo-inspired zig-zag outsole and “perfect for air travel” easy-on construction among the more curious designs in recent memory.  A few months later and now the S-M-L Concept is back, its simple tee shirt-style sizing system applied to a conservative black, white and gum colorway that might make your passage through the TSA rigamarole even smoother thanks to the lack of unnecessary added attention.  But those who notice details will still recognize your bold choice, assuming you pick up a pair of these at a Three Stripes retailer like End.
