As we move further into the fall season and Nike SB’s future release schedule comes into focus, this new pair seems well timed to capture the vibe of turning foliage throughout the northern hemisphere. The Nike SB Dunk Low has a rustic feel with Gold Dust canvas comprising nearly the entire upper, the only reprieve a black Swoosh in the same material to match the outsole. White midsole (of course) and laces soften the look and a red sockliner has these looking more like an autumn tree than, say, an Iowa redux. The quintessential Lakers colorway just seems to make any sneaker look its best, and even if you’re not a Laker fan (we trust there are many of you out there), you can’t deny that purple and gold. Check out this second look at the Nike Zoom Uptempo V in White/Purple/Yellow; this ‘Home’ Lakers colorway features white leather with the classic combo, finished off with a translucent outsole and the signature metallic pod on the upper. Again, these are likely an Asia release, as the Uptempo V is a popular selection out there, so peep the new images below and let us know what you think. via Rstor.

The latest in a long line of Jordan Brand models to incorporate the Air Jordan III’s iconic midsole tooling with a new vamp is the Jordan Courtside, a model we first showed you about two weeks ago. Since that initial preview, we’ve come to learn that a black pair and one in white with black and red accents are both slated for August releases, and here’s a look at another upcoming colorway that should probably come out sooner rather than later. The white leather and Metallic Silver accents on this pair make it perfect for summer, and you can see more images when you click on the jump below. Let us know what you think and stick with Sneaker News for more previews and this pair’s US release date. via ClassicShoe

Just putting the word ‘dance’ in the name is enough to scare the majority of male sneakerheads away from the Nike WMNS Huarache Dance, but this latest colorway is cause for a pause and perhaps a sign that there’s more to this model than we’d seen. The mix of Chlorine Blue with a Peach Cream lining and midsole plus Total Orange outsole gives these a Miami-style look without going the South Beach route. Dolphins all the way, this sleek low-profile trainer for ladies is available now at Nike Sportswear retailers like Kix-Files.

Comic-book addict and screenwriter of Hollywood blockbusters and celebrated cult-hits Kevin Smith was recently honored with another special edition shoe by skate-shoe brand etnies, called the ‘SMEAKER’, a play off of Kevin Smith’s and pal Scott Mosier’s SModcast radio show. The launch event took place at San Diego Comic Con, where friends gathered to celebrate with Smith and Mosier their immortalization in skate-shoe form. The sneaker, based off the Jameson 2.5, features a black canvas upper with a number of distinct details, like famous catch phrase ‘Have A Week’ and ‘Forgeticus’ stitched on the upper. Smith’s mug is also placed on the custom insoles as well. Better than last year’s ‘Clerks’ version? Continue reading for a look at the collaborative sneaker as well as some shots of the event and let us know what your favorite Kevin Smith movie is! via FRESHNESS.

Sneaker News first showed you the adidas SLVR S-M-L Concept back in April, its mix of insane Y-3 Kubo-inspired zig-zag outsole and “perfect for air travel” easy-on construction among the more curious designs in recent memory. A few months later and now the S-M-L Concept is back, its simple tee shirt-style sizing system applied to a conservative black, white and gum colorway that might make your passage through the TSA rigamarole even smoother thanks to the lack of unnecessary added attention. But those who notice details will still recognize your bold choice, assuming you pick up a pair of these at a Three Stripes retailer like End.

Thanks to the post-recession maturation of streetwear and the sneakerhead scene, we’ve seen more formal shoe design cues applied to sneakers than ever before. One such popular element is to add the brogue perforations seen on wingtip shoes to models with a formal lean, a perfect example of which is this new adidas Originals Superstar LTO. The rich brown oiled leather extends to the Superstar’s signature shell toe and gives way to the aforementioned hole-punches between the side panel stripes. Toss in tonal laces, metal eyelets and a white sole and these are quite fetching, and you can fetch a pair from Three Stripes retailers like SNS.

The Agenda tradeshow series perfectly blends the world of action sports with high end streetwear, so it’s only natural to see skateboarding brands showing off upcoming previews each time the doors open. Agenda New York just closed its doors after a two-day run, Converse Skateboarding among the brands showing its wares at the Chelsea Art Museum. There were two CONS signature models on display, with Kenny Anderson’s KA-One showing up in a mix of rugged canvas twill and tonal suede atop a gum sole and Anthony Pappalardo’s pro model showing the difference between charcoal grey, navy blue and mustard yellow suedes.
