EA Sports x Nike Trainer 1.3 Available

Sneaker News was first to show you this special colorway of the Nike Trainer 1.3, which was created in partnership with EA Sports and the newly released EA Sports NCAA Football ’12. It paired a luxurious wool upper with a seamless molded toe-box and heel, and the finishing touches of a translucent outsole and chenille material on the swoosh and EA Sports tongue label made these Letterman jacket-inspired kicks one of the hottest Trainer releases of the year. Lucky you: these have begun to drop at footwear retailers like ShoeGallery, but expect these to pop up in a wider release soon because NikeTown retail locations have already begun to stock them as well. More images below, so take another look below and don’t miss out on this sick release.

Nike SB Blazer Low Black Blue Recall

Is Nike’s new Blue Recall shade a hint at reflected light ‘remembering’ what it was like to be moving just a tiny bit faster?  Because the newly introduced shade is about as close to purple as you can get and still call it blue.  Turns out it looks quite nice in leather against the black suede body of a Nike SB Blazer Low, and a white vulcanized sole finishes off the simply satisfying design.  Click through to see more angles, let us know if this August 2011 release is too subdued for you or if they’re right up your alley, and look to grab them from a Nike SB retailer like the UK’s Flatspot.

Nike Zoom Hyperdunk 2011 Pink White

Sneaker News just alerted you to the availability of the ‘Think Pink’ LeBron Soldier V, its Pinkfire Light shade the third in the series after Pinkfire II made the ‘Think Pink’ Hyperdunk 2010 into more of a metallic torch than a flower with which its name is similar.  The Nike Hyperdunk 2011 pictured above isn’t a clear WBCA-affiliated release (note the lack of ribbon insignia), but it does indeed seem to reprise the metallic pink shade that made the HD2010s so impressive.  Time will tell whether these are a WMNS release or done in mens sizes, but you can click through to see if you like them right now.  Let us know what you think and stick with Sneaker News for updates on these and all Nike Basketball release dates.  via Weibo/HC

Jeremy Scott x adidas Originals JS Gorilla

Jeremy Scott started off his ‘animal’ collection with cuddly bears in the teddy and panda variety, but for this upcoming Spring/Summer 2012 release, Scott’s about to go apes***. Here’s a look at the Jeremy Scott x adidas Originals ‘Gorilla’ in a tonal black colorway; it features a King Kong-like beast on the tongue of the shoe with its fists raised up, ready to pounds its chest. You might’ve caught these in a recent Jeremy Scott x adidas Originals preview, but not in this sweet backdrop featuring the shoe climbing a skyscraper. Expect these sometime next year, but in the meantime, check out the images after the jump. via HS.

Nike Air Force 1 Low Hyperfuse

DJ Clark Kent has just given us our first look at the Nike Air Force 1 Low Hyperfuse in a blue/yellow/white colorway that he describes as ‘Absolute Craziness’. It features the multi-layered Hyperfuse upper (opposed to the tonal colorways we’ve seen on the Air Force 1 High Hyperfuse releases) with a solid white outsole and a black inner lining. We haven’t seen a release for these just yet, but with all the Nike Sportswear Hyperfuse releases dropping this month, you can expect more colorways of the Air Force 1 Low Hyperfuse to surface soon. Will they pop up on Nike iD on as well? We’ll have to wait and see, but for now, check out the extra images below and let us know what you think.

Nike Air Max Light Black Volt

Tirelessly re-used, but hardly old, the Black/Volt combination reigns king among classic Nike colorways. Ever since the Black/Grey/Volt colorway debuted on the Air Max 95, Nike has tried to implement that unbreakable combo to all of its Nike shoes. Dave White calls that combo a favorite, and UK sneakerheads were fortunate enough to get a true Black/Grey/Volt colorway of the Air Max Light, but here’s yet another Light in an equally jaw-dropping colorway; set against a black base, the Volt just pops out of the screen and again reminds us that no sneaker can be questioned when featured in Black/Volt. These are available right now from overseas retailer Titolo so take another look after the jump and let us know what you think of the colorway.

Nike LeBron Soldier V Think Pink | Available

Just before last year rolled into 2011, Nike Basketball released a ‘Think Pink’ Hyperdunk 2010 in a stunning metallic shade called Pinkfire II.  It wasn’t the debut for this shade but the color itself does indeed represent first time that Nike had created a direct sequel to an older color (variations like Dark Obsidian/Obsidian or Freshwater/Radiant Emerald notwithstanding).  And this year there’s yet another new Pinkfire shade, though the Pinkfire Light that makes up the majority of the new Nike LeBron Soldier V ‘Think Pink’ is one with a more standard nomenclature.  And the pink shade isn’t quite as vivid as the ‘Jr.’ version, though they still have a certain undeniable appeal when paired with pure white.  Click through for more and pick up this model benefiting the Kay Yow Cancer Fund today from NikeStore.

Nike Air Trainer Max 96 White Volt Neutral Grey

The Air Trainer Max2 ’94 is enjoying another round of retro releases this summer, but we’ve been waiting longer for one of its direct descendents.  The Nike Air Trainer Max ’97 is finally back after a long hibernation, this new colorway a nice compromise between today’s trends and the era from which the model’s distinctive Air Max 95-style tongue emblem originates.  The mix of white and Neutral Grey with just a hint of Volt is itself a fairly versatile combo as far as neon-accented sneakers go, and you can pick these up as a strong go-to option for back to school from a Nike Sportswear retailer like Eastbay.
