Air Jordan 1 High Black Patent Sample | New Images

2009 was a great year for the , the year that marked the milestone ‘big 23′ for the original Air Jordan shoe. It was impossible to recall all the colorways that dropped that year, so let’s focus on a pair that didn’t make it beyond the cutting-room floor – this Air Jordan 1 High fashioned in black patent leather in a tonal colorway (remember there was a similar released version in dark obsidian). We actually showed you a pair earlier today, but here we have another look at this unreleased Holiday 2009 sample, which features a glossy, pearlized upper and a metallic grey inner lining. The window of opportunity for this Air Jordan 1 has passed so a release will likely not happen (unless Jordan Brand returns to re-releasing more AJ1s), so don’t miss out on this size 9 sample by hitting up the aucwtion from envyusek on eBay.

Nike Air Foamposite Pro Dark Pine Detailed Photos

If schools still commenced on the first Tuesday after Labor Day, these would be poised to be the back-to-school shoe for early adopters.  But then again, sneaker release dates have also become less traditional in recent years, with high profile models sometimes available weeks or months ahead of time.  Guys like Wale don’t even have to buy them at a premium either, and the MMG signee has been spotted in the Nike Air Foamposite Pro ‘Dark Pine’ as far back as February.  That was just after our initial preview in January, so we’ve been waiting for these Dark Pine Foamposites to hit retail for quite a while, and the Friday September 2nd release date is now less than six weeks out.  Click through to see more angles and stick with Sneaker News for updates on these and all Foamposite release dates.  via AGS

Nike SB Zoom Stefan Janoski Boat Shoe Dark Oak

Traditional deck shoes share a common design wherein the lace is worked into the ankle collar for superior stability in wet climates when compared to your standard horizontal bottom lace.  The eschewed this build in favor of a more traditional sneaker-style lacing system and kept the boat shoe personality, this new pair, then, perhaps the ‘ultimate’ Janoski lowtop.  The Nike SB Zoom Stefan Janoski ‘Boat Shoe’ adds an ornamental leather lace to the rear of a Dark Oak suede design that detail-oriented sneakerheads will notice is different than the corded forefoot laces.  Click through to see more angles and pick these up at a Nike SB retailer like Charlotte’s Black Sheep.

Nike Air Max 24/7 Black Freshwater Dark Grey

We’ve known for some time that Nike Sportswear has a black and Freshwater sneaker with full-length Max Air cushioning, but here’s surprise news that the number is actually at least two.  And it seems poetic to find Air Griffey Max 1 1996 original colorway being joined by a model made of the annual Air Max runners that bookended its release, the Nike Air Max 24/7.  These Air Max 24-7s take the Seattle Mariners look to a darker place thanks to Dark Grey accents instead of white like the AGM1s, and they’re available for the taking a good four weeks ahead of the Griffeys at Eastbay.

Nike Air Footscape Woven Chukka Motion 80S Dark Army
The Nike Air Footscape Woven Chukka Motion is about to hit retailers in a couple of African animal prints, but that’s not the only way to make this model look wild.  In fact, even the simplest of colorways will still break necks, especially when they’ve got the kind of three-tone checkerboarding as this pair’s woven sections.  The rest is simple by comparison: a Dark Army green tumbled leather upper that descends to an off-white Free Motion sole for the utmost in avant garde style and comfort.  Click through to see more angles of this ’80S’ Footscape Woven Chukka Motion and stick with Sneaker News for the US release date.  via Kicks-Crew

Nike Air Max 90 Black Medium Grey

The Nike Air Max 90 has undergone quite the amount of alterations, creating some funky hybrid models like the Air Max 90 Current, Air Max 90 Current Huarache, and Air Max 90 Hyperfuse, but our attention is always sparked by a simple colorway of the original design. Here’s a look at a new colorway that combines Black and Medium Grey in a leather/nubuck upper; the tonal black matches perfectly with the grey accents on the swoosh and lace lock-down apparatus and is finished off with white Air Max font-type on the upper badge. You can grab these now at JDSports, but keep your eye out at stateside Nike Sportswear retailers as well.

Nike’s ‘’ Collection is a visible platform used to raise breast cancer awareness in the world of basketball. Here’s a look at an unreleased Jordan Take Flight ‘Think Pink’ Sample that features the iconic breast cancer awareness ribbon stitched on the heel of the shoe; a similar GS version of this colorway released in December of 2010, but instead of the ribbon logo, it featured the ‘For The Love Of The Game‘ symbol stitched on the outer heels of the shoe. The Jordan Take Flight ‘Think Pink’ never released, but this size 13 pair just went up for grabs, so check out the images below and hit up the auction from jlequang on eBay.
