Nike Air Presto Fall 2011 Colorways

The Nike Air Presto was a revolutionary release from the Swoosh’s turn of the century Alpha Project, a featherweight running shoe that came in t-shirt sizes and whose neoprene sock/TPU lacing system combo has influenced everything from the Air Max 90 Current (Huarache) to the Nike Basketball Hyperdunk series.  The Air Presto had been AWOL for the better part of the noughties, the reorganization of Nike Sport Culture into Nike Sportswear resulting in a variety of simple colorways in early 2009.  About a year later, we saw a bunch of patterned Prestos, but by June, we were back to OG-style clean colorways, a trend that extended through this spring when seven new styles hit retailers.  These new Air Prestos, then, can be seen as a slight progression back toward more involved designs, their colorblocking pattern drawing attention to the Presto’s hidden ‘mudguard’.  Click through to see more of the Wolf Grey and Midnight Navy pairs and grab one or both of them today from NSW retailers like Titolo.

Nike Air Max Light Wolf Grey Anthracite White

It has begun to feel like less of a European exclusive thanks to the magic of the internet, but the fact is, the vast majority of new Nike Air Max Light releases are European exclusives.  The latest such example is this dope new pair of AM Lights, a Wolf Grey and Anthracite mix with white on the Swoosh and midsole that’s either the perfect punctuation for essentially any outfit you could imagine, or perhaps the ideal candidate for that stash of colorful laces you keep for occasions like these.  Click through to see more angles and pick up a pair from the only place in the world that carries this colorway: JD Sports.

Nike Blazer High Premium TG White Leather

We gave you a look at a couple pairs of the Nike Blazer High Premium TG a few months back, and we’re back with another look at this take on the classic Blazer. The last time we saw these they featured canvas heavily, but here the upper comes in a creamy tumbled leather, white washed to match the rest of the sneaker. Yep, it’s all white with these, a glowing summer colorway that is just too clean for words, but peep at added treat of elephant print on the heel-tab. Continue reading for a more in depth look at this Nike Blazer High Premium TG which is available at UK retailer Size? or you can find yourself a pair now on eBay.

DJ Mars x New Balance Where Are You Running To

“I’m not an athlete, but I feel like I’ve been running my entire life.”

Famed Atlanta record spinner DJ Mars has had a long and successful career, to which he attributes his claim of running throughout his entire life despite not being an athlete. He’s on the grind while most are still waking up and hitting the snooze button, and so he teamed up with New Balance to give the public a sneak peek into the life of the mega-DJ and New Balance enthusiast. Boasting a sick New Balance collection (beginning from ’98), DJ Mars and his devotion to the brand is the perfect way to kick off the ‘Where Are You Running’ microsite, which will feature other prominent DJs from around the nation; each site features personal favorites (the 992 and 575 Trail for DJ Mars) as well as a custom 574 design which he calls ‘Talking Bear’. Peep the video below and head to the DJ Mars x New Balance microsite to check it out even further.

Jordan Enhancer White Yellow Light Blue | Unreleased Sample

During the tail end of the Spring 2008 season, Jordan Brand introduced the Jordan Enhancer, a lower-cut performance basketball shoe that drew design cues from the Jordan CP3 – Chris Paul’s first signature shoe with Jordan Brand. Like the CP3, the Jordan Enhancer featured prominent flex grooves on the outsole for great forefoot flexion, and also utilized a lightweight carbon-fiber shank plate at the midfoot for that ‘spring’ that gave the Air Jordan XI its supreme performance. Although the Jordan Enhancer was short lived, as we only recall a black/white colorway, this unreleased colorway of the Jordan Enhancer would’ve been a nice summer option thanks to the light colorway, similar to the ‘DTRT’ versions of the Air Jordan III. Check out the additional images of this unreleased colorway of the Jordan Enhancer and check out the auction from dballaholic on eBay.

Air Jordan XI Columbia | OG Pair on eBay

One thing’s that been a constant in Jordan Brand’s yearly retro-release schedule: the year-end sale of the Air Jordan XI. With the Concords already confirmed for 2011 (with a late December release likely), that would make three years in a row that Jordan Brand saved (arguably) the most popular Air Jordan as the final retro release of the calendar year. There were some rumors of the Air Jordan XI ‘Columbia’ being released as part of the two-pair package with the Air Jordan XII Obsidian, but you can bank on these being the December 2012 marquee Retro release. To refresh your memory, here’s a look at a deadstock pair of MJ’s 1996 NBA All-Star Game shoes in pristine condition; the outsole is still incredibly clear (almost blue), and the patent leather as well as the mesh has held up rather well to the dreadful yellowing that occurs over time. More detailed images await you below so take a look and let us know where the ‘Columbia’ ranks among all the Air Jordan XI colorways of all-time, and hit up this auction from rprinz8 on eBay.

Nike Air Force 1 High Premium Team Red White

It’s no secret that Bun B is a big time sneakerhead, between his infamous Space Jam Bespokes and all the other heat he’s been caught rocking. Here’s another one to add to the list, the upcoming Nike Air Force 1 High Premium in team red and white. Bun tweeted a photo of these, showing off the killer suede and suede mesh combo in advance of their August release date. The one two punch of suede on the back and mesh on the front is a recurring motif for the Nike Air Force 1 as of late, and we certainly approve. Hit the jump for a better look and stick with us as this August release approaches.

Nike Zoom Hyperdunk 2011 Supreme Upcoming Colorways

Last week Sneaker News showed you the Nike Zoom Hyperdunk 2011 Supreme in the Imperial Purple/Cool Grey colorway. The ‘Supreme’ Hyperdunk 2011 features a notable design upgrade from the regular version of the Zoom Hyperdunk 2011 in the form of a webbed TPU overlay at the toe as well as reinforced lace eyelets. In addition to the Imperial Purple colorway, you can expect four more versions in similar tonal-colorway packages, like Varsity Red, Black, Royal Blue, and Orange. Expect these to hit Nike Basketball retailers for the Holiday 2011 season (the purple colorway is already confirmed for November), and check out all five colorways after the jump.

Nike Zoom Huarache TR Low Black Patent

There’s a sequel on tap for the revived midtop version, but don’t forget about the lowtop from Nike Training’s Huarache series.  The Nike Zoom Huarache TR Low is back with a new colorway for the dog days of summer, but ironically enough, it’s pretty much the exact opposite of what you’d probably want for a hard day of outdoor cross training.  In fact, this new Zoom Huarache Trainer Low is probably best reserved for lifestyle use as the patent leather toe that sets off this tonal black design, is not exactly the kind of material you’d naturally picture for use in wind sprints and such.  It’s visually impressive all the same, and you can click through for more images before picking up a pair from NikeStore.
