Jordan Brand has plans of dropping three different colorways of the Jordan CMFT Viz Air 13 this August, two of which were already previewed in our Jordan Brand August 2011 Footwear recap. Here’s a look at the third version, featuring a matte varsity red upper that should remind you of the ‘Cranberry‘ colorway that was popular last year; it comes paired with a black nubuck upper, dotted nylon tongue, black midsole, and white outsole. Expect these to hit Jordan Brand retailers this August for $115; more images await you after the jump so take a look and let us know what you think.

It’s still relatively common to refer to family as ‘(next of) kin’, but aside from Kids in the Hall fans, it’s rare to see anyone use the word ‘kith’ these days. These words are like, well, cousins, the latter taken directly from the Middle English in reference to those regulars in your life with whom you only share a modicum of genetic material. So when we see an image of the dope upcoming Ronnie Fieg x Asics Gel Lyte III ‘Leatherbacks’ on the designer’s blog with just ‘Kith.’ posted below, is it safe to assume that these are a friends and family release and that the rumor about the ‘Mint Leaf’ GLIII as his last collabo release at David Z is true? Time will tell how much further the Asics x Ronnie Fieg family tree continues to extend, so click through for more and stick with Sneaker News for updates on a possible ‘Leather Back’ Gel Lyte III release date.
UPDATE:
As it turns out, the cryptic “Kith” underneath the image on Ronnie Fieg’s site refers to the retail space of the same name that Mr. Fieg will be opening in NYC in the future. Good news for our readers, as these will indeed be releasing to the public, and Ronnie is promising some more heavy duty servers at his new place to handle the webstore. This comes as a blessing for those who have tried to cop his previous releases online through DavidZ. As always, stay tuned with Sneaker News for the release info.

Michael Jordan scored thirty at Madison Square Garden on Christmas Day 1986 but the Knicks still managed to eek out a 1-point victory. MJ was the kind of hyper-competitive player who would mentally replay any setbacks to fuel his quest for greatness, but while we’re on the topic of imagination, it’s not too crazy a stretch to picture His Airness playing in a modern day Yuletide tip rocking this Air Jordan 2.0 colorway. They’re a reminder of how far things have progressed from the foundation Mike was so instrumental in laying; Jordan simply didn’t have holiday specific colorways or even more than five in a single season — a far cry from today’s Kobes and LeBrons. The AJ2.0 gives you a chance to imagine a different world and then see how well the combination of classic style and modern tech performs and this colorway hits select Jordan Brand retailers on Saturday, August 6th.

Ladies and gentlemen, the single biggest teddy bear-tongued sneaker release of all time: the Jeremy Scott x adidas Originals JS Panda Bear. This bold remake of the mid-’80s classic Metro Attitude basketball hightop sees adidas Originals by Originals collaborator Scott channel his inner Jack Black for a black and white look that’s a far cry from the ‘Tuxedo’ Arrow model he put out last year. They’re more polarizing than your average high profile sneaker drop but that just means the daring few will be even further emboldened upon the release this Friday, July 22nd at Three Stripes shops like West.

Berlin’s Bright tradeshow is perhaps the industry’s most aptly named, its exhibits among the luminary displays at any sneaker gathering and a consistently strong spotlight for Nike SB. The most recent install featured a tile mosaic bench sculpture that featured more colors in a square foot than the entire spring 2012 footwear lineup combined. Among that subdued bunch was the above pictured Nike SB Dunk High in Bone Grey pebbled leather with a black on the suede underlay, leather Swooshes, laces, lining and outsole, and of course, a white midsole (it’s a Dunk; what else?!). Click through to see more, let us know if this understated beauty has you already looking past the holiday season and stick with Sneaker News for updates on these and all Nike SB Dunk release dates. via N-SB

They’re not officially a takedown like LeBron’s Ambassador and Soldier series or Kobe’s Venomenon and KB24, but any sneakerhead with functional vision can see the similarities between Dwyane Wade’s first Jordan Brand signature and the upcoming Jordan Fly 23. It’s even named similarly to the Fly Wade, and wouldn’t you know it, there are a series of Heat-ed colorways joining the launch group along with white pairs offering Flint Grey or Varsity Red accents. All four are currently slated for August so click through and take a closer look and be sure to stick with Sneaker News for their US release dates.

When we first gave you a look at the Jordan BCT Mid, the results were surprisingly positive given the usual tendency of sneakerheads to turn their noses up at any Jordans outside the legacy line. We’ve got another just released colorway of the Jordan BCT Mid on our hands, this time looking like an outtake from the Quai 54 releases with its black on volt combo. The breathable mesh on these combined with the support-enabling strap makes them one of the most well thought out trainers to come from Jordan Brand, not to mention the sleek silhouette has a healthy mix of materials without going overboard. Continue reading for more photos of this Jordan Brand trainer, which is available now at Nikestore.

We’ve seen Nike take cues from boat shoe designs before, as recent as this Nike SB Zoom Stefan Janoski for instance, but never before have they made an outright boat shoe. Well now fans of Sebagos and Sperrys can add the Swoosh to their arsenal with the Nike Post Harbour, a clean looking slip on that features the traditional boat shoe lacing. The initial two releases of the Nike Post Harbour come in a few earthy tones of suede, with metal eyelets featuring Nike branding and a nylon hang tag right where you’d expect it on a boat shoe. The outsole on these rings a bit more true with typical Nike design, adding some unique flavor to the Nike Post Harbor. Hit the jump for additional images and let us know if you approve of Nike’s foray into the world of deck shoes. via Dunk

The Nike Air Presto recently got a colorful batch of retro releases, but we understand that not everyone has a need for bright sneakers. Fortunately the Nike Air Presto isn’t being doomed to a fruity fate for this season, as this darker edition proves. Save for the Presto logo on the heel and the swoosh hits, these are completely blacked out, a solid look for the neoprene sock and the unique lacing system. We’ve got some more images after the jump, so continue reading to get a better look at this sleek new Nike Air Presto, available now at Titolo.
