Nike Zoom Hyperdunk 2011 Blake Griffin 10.0 PE | Release Info

This earth-shattering colorway of the Nike Zoom Hyperdunk 2011 was made for Blake Griffin for the 2011 NBA Dunk Contest; it features a bright solar red upper with cracked pavement graphics on the midsole, heel, and outsole, pointing to Blake Griffin’s quake-inducing slam dunks that he’s managed to complete during the course of the NBA Season. While these haven’t released in the U.S. and plans of one don’t seem to be in our sights, Nike Hong Kong will drop a super-limited run of thirty pairs for 30 lucky individuals who register at NikeHK and luckily stumble upon the ‘Order’ button on the official landing page of the 10.0 PE during the week of July 19th to July 26th. Suddenly, dunking over a Kia doesn’t seem so tough. Check out these new detailed images of the Nike Zoom Hyperdunk 2011 Blake Griffin 10.0 PE (with and without flash) below and let us know if you’d like for these to release in the U.S.! via hk-kicks

Air Jordan 3 Retro Black Cement | New Images

Last year’s Black Friday Air Jordan Retro release was an OG colorway of one of the most popular Jordans ever created. That recipe for success will be repeated for post-Thanksgiving Day later this year as the Air Jordan III Black/Cement will hit stores (as a standalone pair) after a decade of quietude. You might be muttering to yourself “well, I still have the CDPs from 2008, so why get these?”. It should be noted that the upper material features a synthetic tumbled leather that resembles the rich broken-in appeal from the 2001 Retro release (opposed to the smoother, flatter leather used in the 2008 CDP release). Also, why would you not want to add another pair of Black/Cement IIIs to your arsenal? We’ve got a new gallery of images of this upcoming heater from kicks-crew, so check ‘em out and pick up a pair early on eBay.

Entourage x Nike SB Dunk Low Lights Out Available on eBay

We’ve been hearing conflicting stories regarding the possible release of the Entourage x Nike SB Dunk Low, but if it’s anything like the last Entourage x Nike collaboration, don’t expect these to be available in stores. Nike SB Dunk aficionados are all crossing their fingers for a release, but according to those who have managed to get a pair in their hands, the Entourage x SB Dunk Low is the dreaded Friends-and-Family variety and will be limited to just 50 pairs for cast and crew. However, this most recent development may prove otherwise, because one noted eBay sneakerslinger has managed to acquire a generous amount of pairs, so let’s hope this is a sign of good things to come. Check out the new set of images of the x ‘Lights Out’ and check out the listing of these rare joints from croatianstyle on eBay.

Air Jordan XIII Ray Allen PE He Got Aim T Shirt

Long before became the greatest 3-point shooter of all time, he was Jesus Shuttlesworth, a high-school basketball standout (and to some, a meal ticket) whose imminent super-stardom opened a window to a uncontrollable gust of personal and professional difficulties. We all remember ‘He Got Game’ as one of the better NBA star-turned-actor films from the 90′s (no disrespect to Kazaam), and for sneakerheads, it was a great showcase of some of the best sneakers of the decade, like the Pearl Foams, Hawk Flights, and of course, the Air Jordan XIII. Today, Ray Allen stands as not only the best long-range sharpshooter in history, but also as an NBA Champion, respected veteran leader, devoted family man, and the most successful Jordan Brand basketball athlete to date; with the coming release of the Air Jordan XIII Ray Allen PE, Jordan Brand has also fashioned this t-shirt, featuring Ray Allen’s jump-shot logo alongside a ‘He Got Aim’ slogan – would be a nice match to the upcoming release, wouldn’t they? Check out the new images of Ray’s 13s as well as the matching shirt and let us know what you think. via hk-kicks.

Air Jordan 1 Phat High GS Diamond Swoosh

The Nike Zoom Hyperfuse 2011 is a marvel of modern footwear engineering, but it’s also notable for the introduction of the iridescent Metallic Luster shade that debuted to provide many of its midsoles with Swooshes.  The Air Jordan 1 Phat GS pictured above doesn’t alot a portion of its color code to its glistening Swooshes, but they’re every bit as captivating as the Hyperfuse’s thanks to a diamond texture that shimmers and sparkles as you walk.  These are perfect for back to school for li’l miss sneakerhead and they’ll be hitting Jordan Brand retailers like Japan’s mita sneakers soon.  Click through to see more angles, let us know what you think of that diamond Swoosh and keep an eye out for these already showing up at some U.S. retailers.

Nike Air Force 1 Bespoke by Luis Perez

The latest Nike Air Force 1 Bespoke creation showcased by Nike Sportswear is this look that combines a variety of material textures into an $820 pair of fireballs.  Luis Perez manages to hint at silver and gold without reaching a blinged-out conclusion thanks to the fact that the rear red sections are shinier than the grey nylon and those golden sections that are metallic come with an uneven finish.  Combine this with red waxed canvas on the toebox and an anodized leather on the rear and this pair becomes a study on how to make the most of the AF1 Bespoke’s options.  Click through to see more angles, let us know how these compare to other Bespokes we’ve profiled here and stick with Sneaker News for more.

Ronnie Fieg x Asics Gel Lyte III Leather Backs

There was talk in early June of Ronnie Fieg’s latest Asics Gel Lyte III collaboration being his last, though the reception for this past Saturday’s ‘Mint Leaf’ release suggests this is one of those Jay-Z situations where the market demand simply won’t allow this man to retire.  The latest GLIII teased on Fieg’s Twitter stream is a mix of black leather, charcoal grey suede and bright blue accents that calls to mind the earliest David Z x Asics collaborations to which he contributed as a ghostwriter.  You can count on a cycle of images of these kicks in beautiful locales, possibly on a beautiful female body, but for now, click through to see more and let us know what you think, and be sure to stick with Sneaker News for more on the upcoming by Ronnie Fieg.

Nike SB August 2011 Footwear
Unless you’re the person in your area who decided to parlay the information superhighway into a plush career walking your wealthy neighbors dogs, August is the only month of the year that lacks a significant (read: time off from work) holiday.  National Dog Day is on the 26th of next month, but you won’t have to wait nearly that long for the next shipment of Nike SB footwear, which happens to include a birthday celebration in the form of the Nike SB Paul Rodriguez 5 debut.  The P-Rod 5 will release in two Chicago Bulls-style LunarLon-cushioned colorways, the Blazer Low SB and recently revived Zoom Harbor SB filling in for the vulcanized sole side of things for the V-Rod and P-Rod set to take a month off.  Also riding an autoclaved sole is the Zoom Stefan Janoski SB, which looks a bit different this month thanks to the ‘Boat Shoe’ variant with its unprecedented heel lace on the Dark Oak edition, a Jetstream pair keeping with the sleeker OG design.  Last but not least are the Dunk Mid Pro SB in black and white with a gum sole and the ‘Tiffany’ Koston 1s, and you can see images of all of these when you click on the jump below.  Let us know which pairs you plan to purchase and stick with Sneaker News for updates on their availibility.

Air Jordan VI White Sport Blue | OG Pair on eBay

A ‘trending’ topic on Sneaker News has been the ‘Nike Air’ customs done on recent Air Jordans. Here’s a look at an Air Jordan shoe with a legit ‘Nike Air’ on the heel – none other than the White/Blue Air Jordan VI . This colorway is one of the few remaining non-retroed originals from the Air Jordan catalog, but these could see a release in 2014, the 23rd birthday of the Air Jordan VI. A quick midsole-repainting could produce a 2010 version of these, as one sneakerhead did that exact custom job on a pair of the White/Varsity Red Air Jordan VI last year. It’s always a treat to see these pop up because such occurrences are few and far inbetween, so check out the images of this OG pair of the Air Jordan VI in Sport/September Blue and hit up the auction from seoul1014 on eBay.

Nike Trainer 1.3 Max Volt Grey + Obsidian Silver

The Manny Pacquiao PE beat all the others (how fitting) to retail, so it’s been all waiting since April with regard to the Nike Trainer 1.3 Max.  The latest Nike Training release is slated for wide release in Q3 and today we have a look at a couple of the initial drops.  First up is a Dark Grey, Volt and Metallic Silver getup that looks like the lighter side of another neon-accented look slated for next year, and it’s joined by an Obsidian and Metallic Silver look that seems timely with Derek Jeter a mere 4 hits away from the 3000 club.  Click through to see more angles and head on over to Eastbay because they just dropped both colorways.

Nike Cradle Rock Low 2011 White Metallic Silver Cannon

With the NBA lockout in full effect, does Nike stall its production of basketball shoes for the 2011-12 season? Nike is one to plan ahead, and the upcoming Nike Cradle Rock Low 2011 was created long before ‘lockout’ was even a though, but with NBA players seeking employment overseas at the moment, who knows when NBA action will come back? We’re hoping for sooner rather than later, because we’re always interested in the debut of new Nike Basketball models like the Cradle Rock Low 2011 (although Steve Nash won’t be wearing Nikes anymore). Here’s a look at the White/Metallic Silver-Cannon colorway on this sample pair; it features a seamless toe-box with a low-pro construction – almost skate-shoe like – that provides a close-to-the-ground feel. Quite an ideal fit for the darting, speedy point guard, so let’s hope the lockout ends soon because these would look rather sleek on court! More images await you below, so take a look at check out the auction from tai647 on eBay.
