This past Wednesday evening, Sneaker News gave you a sneak peek look at an upcoming three-way collaboration among Nike Sportswear, fragment design, and New York-born skate/street brand Supreme. The Nike All Court Low was the meeting point for the three, and clearly the influence from all three parties can be seen. Taking the classic Nike All Court Low silhouette, the creative minds behind this collaboration have completed the set using an all-over-print style upper with fragment design’s ‘lightning bolt’ logo and Supreme’s trademark label font. White/Varsity Red, White/Black, and Black/White-Varsity Red will be the released colorways of this noteworthy collaboration, so continue reading for a detailed look at all three and stick with Sneaker News for possible U.S. release information of the Supreme x fragment design x Nike All Court Low. via freshstore.

The Air Jordan XI Concord dominated the newswire this week as brought you a look at the upcoming Holiday 2011 banger and its special packaging. More Air jordan news came in the form of a sick three-way comparison of the Air Jordan III Black/Cement, six new Air Jordan 1 High releases, and a recap of the Jordan Brand Flight Tour of China. In Nike SB news, we learned that Entourage SB Dunk may release this October and that the first Nike SB shoe would release on Nike iD. The Air Yeezy was also a big topic, as three unreleased samples of the Air Yeezy (worn by Yeezy) went up for sale. Speaking of Kanye, two of his G.O.O.D. Music artists were featured in Sneaker News Celebrity Feet.

Foot Locker is no stranger to sneaker-centric competitions, having just this year created a 3-point shootout online game and run a March Madness contest, but their latest was by far the most intensive. The Foot Locker Art Prize was dubbed ‘The World’s Richest Colouring Competition’ thanks to the $50,001 grand prize afforded to 24 year old Brisbane, Austrailia native Kalin Thompson on the strength of his ‘Forbidden Fruit’ work. The insane Nike Air Force 1 Mid Thompson design was hailed by noted customizer and artist Dave White as “A complete knockout,” and it earned him the cash prize along with a 1 of 1 Air Force 1 based on his work as designed by Sekure D. click through to see what 400 hours spent on a shoe design looks like and let us know how these works compare to the other sneaker-themed art we’ve seen here on Sneaker News. via SF

We recently caught actor Chi McBride wearing the Packer Shoes x Reebok Court Victory Pump ‘Wimbledon’ on the set of the hit TNT show Hawthorne, but if you needed even more affirmation that this dude’s sneaker game is legit, check out his Air Jordan V Quai 54 in the Friends and Family only Black colorway. There’s no doubt that Chi’s been in the sneaker game for a while (he’s been spotted wearing the NKETLK t-shirt), and with just 54 pairs of these beauties being doled out to the select of the select, Mr. McBride certainly did not rise up the V.I.P. list ranks overnight. The Black Quai 54 would be a worthy addition to an updated ‘Chi McBride’s Greatest Footwear Moments‘ list, wouldn’t it? Check out more after the jump and if you’re still looking for a pair of the white Quais, you can still find a few on eBay.

New Balance has shown a series of previews that suggest in conjunction with the momentum we’ve seen them building in recent months, that sneakerheads will enjoy an even wider array of NB’s classic running greats in the months to come. one model that’s a favorite amongst the NB faithful is the New Balance M1500, a silhouette that gets more play in Japan, yet looks amazing in this grey leather Made in UK edition. The tonal grey getup is impeccable and a suitable anchor to innumerable outfits, and you can pre-order a pair today from Hanon in advance of the September release date.

Whereas Jordan Brand’s V.2 Grown was basically the second version of the Campus Chukka design and the V.5 a lowtop variant, the Jordan V.9 Grown actually draws upon the Air Jordan Legacy model with that same number. The V9s debut in a dope tumbled grey nubuck getup with black accents that nail the simple lifestyle look and are joined by the equally simply pleasing Air Jordan 1 Phat in black carbon fiber. Despite the obvious advantage from that lightweight material, both of those are best kept to anchoring your outfits, while the Trunner LX ’11 offers serious performance during your chosen training activities. Click through to see all three pairs in more detail and look for yours at JB retailers like Extra Butter.

In mid-June, Sneaker News gave you the heads up on an upcoming Spring 2012 release of the Nike SB Dunk Mid dubbed the ‘Golden Hops’. Today we finally get a detailed look at this sweet release, which features a combination of leather and suede in a two-toned brown colorway (similar to that of the Nike SB Dunk ‘Brown Pack’ from 2003). Other details include red on the tongue label as well as on a small portion of the upper heel. It isn’t clear if the ‘Golden Hops’ has some connection with beer or if its just a shortened version of its official color code, but at this point, what’s important is that the shoe looks great! More images await you below so take a look and let us know what you think. via N-SB.

The Air Jordan II is one of those hate-it-or-love-it designs and the topic of hybridizing or otherwise updating the Air Jordan Legacy elicits similarly polarized responses, so could we gret a Linnaeus effect here with smaller groups even more passionately moving toward or away from this spot in the middle of their Venn diagram? It would seem that the dominant sentiment on the Air Jordan 2.0 could go either way, but this crisp Gucci-leaning colorway will continue to win over fans just as the ‘Quarterfinals’ edition did a short time earlier. Click through to get a better view of this Air Jordan 2.0 and look for them at select JB retailers including Brooklyn’s new Red Carpet boutique.
