The mission was simple, but not easy; @M1KE428 recreated the iconic Jumpman logo (quite accurately) while wearing the Air Jordan XI Cool Grey and using the gorgeous blue sky as his scenic backdrop. The Air Jordan V in Black/Metallic Silver was remastered earlier this year as part of the Jordan Brand Bin23 Collection, which features some of the best Air Jordans ever reconstructed in premium fashion. Despite being the most ‘available’ Air Jordan Premio, the Air Jordan V Premio demands the highest dollars on the sneaker market because the sneaker and colorway itself holds a ton of sentimental value. For those who missed out on the Air Jordan V Premio, the Air Jordan V Black/Metallic Silver will arrive in stores this August 20th in the states. However, UK retailer FootPatrol is reporting an earlier release date of August 6th while other Euro spots have reported an 8/19 drop, so for our readers across the ocean, expect these to hit Jordan Brand retailers on your side as early as next Saturday and not until August 20th here in the States. The United States reigns supreme as the undisputed sneakerhead capital of the world, and while nations like Japan are given mucho street cred for obvious reasons, our neighbors to the north haven’t exactly been slacking on their sneaker steez either.  Ottawa’s NRML has been going strong for fifteen years now, and in celebration of a decade and a half in the game, they authored an ultra-limited collaboration with Nike Sportswear.  The NRML x Nike Dunk High Premium and Air Max 90 are both limited to an insane 16 pairs, five of each will be given away during contests and drawings at NRML’s 15th anniversary party Saturday, July 30th.  Click through to get a better view of these kicks and the corresponding tees for each pair and let us know if you’ll use your passport to try and get a pair.

We continue with Air Jordan samples galore with a look at this unreleased Air Jordan IX Low. These were spotted on the feet of Jordan Brand employee Josiah_Lake, who just one week ago flaunted an unreleased, pair of Air Jordan V Low samples. This Air Jordan IX sample, which Lake describes as ‘Bull Red’, features a white leather upper with red patent leather on the mudguard, similar to the tonal White and ‘Pearl Blue’ Air Jordan IX Lows that released roughly one decade ago. Will Josiah break out a new Air Jordan sample every Friday? Let’s hope he’s got some more gems in his sneaker closet. Back in March, when the furthest out onto the horizon we could see was that mythic part of the future called ‘fall 2011′, Sneaker News showed you a Nike SB Zoom Stefan Janoski that appeared to carry a bunch of blood stains on the off-white upper and insole in honor of the Halloween holiday.  It turns out that this model is indeed themed after a red stain that’s next to impossible remove, and the timing of their release during Q3 is even better when you consider the fact that grape harvesting season falls around August-October.  The ‘Wino’ Stefan Janoski SB depicts the horror of not using coasters instead of a possible piece of evidence from a murder scene, and with this shift in apparent inspiration, they become one of the more unique adult beverage-inspired sneakers we’ve seen from Nike SB or any other brand.  Click through to see more angles and stick with Sneaker News for updates on the ‘Wino’ Zoom Stefan Janoski release date.  via N-SB/lacebag

Jordan Brand pulled out all the stops for its Air Jordan XI Space Jam release in 2009, housing the sneakers in a unique slide-out box which featured a plastic casing, ‘carbon-fiber’ tissue lining paper, and hard plastic shoe trees. The same formula was used for the 2010 release of the Air Jordan XI Cool Grey, so when Sneaker News dropped the news of an Air Jordan XI Concord release, a similar special edition packaging was expected. Here’s a look at what your lovely Concord XIs will arrive in; the box is white and black, with detailed lines mimicking the patent leather mudguard of the shoe, and features the oversized ’23′ on the upper face of the package. Slide out the ‘shelf’ and you’ll see a Concord Blue plastic casing with the message “Tinker made them shine…you made them iconic”. The Nike Air Flow has enjoyed its first series of releases in what feels like forever this year, two Tier Zero two-packs and a Lunar-n-Fuse update adding more cause for celebration.  So should we expect Nike Sportswear to issue new Air Flow colorways on the same frequency as models like the Air Max classic runners?  That remains to be seem and while it seems somewhat unlikely, the answer certainly isn’t a firm ‘no’, as today we see two new colorups expected in the near future.  One goes for a tonal black upper/white sole combo just like the TZ joints that dropped in London this June while the white/blue/pink edition echoes a colorway found on the Lunar Flow.  Click through to see more of both pairs and stick with Sneaker News for more including their release dates.  via Numelo

Dwyane Wade’s been M.I.A. from the Jordan Brand Flight Tour of China, but he’s still one of Jordan Brand biggest athletes at the moment. His recently introduced Jordan Fly Wade is the lightest performance-basketball shoe ever created by Jordan Brand, and it has had no difficulty in molding to Wade’s Flash-y game. Maybe Wade will join fellow Jordan Brand athletes Carmelo Anthony and Chris Paul for the remainder of the four-city tour, but if not, you can still get a dose of D-Wade in China with the Jordan Fly Wade ‘China Mask’; each color in this special edition version symbolizes one of the many strengths that Dwyane Wade possesses. For example, red represents his courage and devotion while the hints of yellow denote Wade’s ambition. The single most obvious trend during 2010′s summer concert festival season was the presence of throwback basketball jerseys on some unlikely attendees.  The term ‘hoopster’ was coined to define these basket-alts, and the more obscure the better, with players like Greg Ostertag earning more cool points than the obvious Bulls #23.  Fast-forward to the present and we still have Lollapalooza on the upcoming slate, and adidas Originals wants you to be ready to embrace the outdoor fun and sun in a subtler way, at least when it comes to your footwear.  The adidas Originals Foray will drop in four new colorways along with a couple windbreaker jackets and two graphic tees, and you can see more images of the entire collection when you click on the jump below.
