The Jordan Brand Flight Tour of China continued as Jordan Brand athletes Carmelo Anthony and Chris Paul delved further into the Chinese culture and basketball history. After quick stops at some scenic landmarks, both Melo and CP3 as well as thousands of raging basketball and Jordan Brand fans gathered at Hong Kong Kicks Lounge where their China-inspired Jordan Brand signature shoes were unveiled. After the in-store appearance, which included a generous helping of autographs, picture sessions, and Q&As, Carmelo and Chris Paul returned to Southorn Stadium to serve as coaches for the 19-and-under All-Star teams. After the game, three children from the Changing Young Lives Foundtation presented gifts to the Jordan athletes, which included a hand imprinting ceremony. The next stop in the Jordan Brand Flight Tour of China is Chengdu, so stick with Sneaker News and we’ll keep you updated on this Jordan Brand overseas adventure!

Ever since Wale rocked the Dark Pine Foamposite Pro during the All-Star Weekend, the buzz for these September 2011 release has been growing steadily. As we get closer and closer to the release date, we can feel the excitement reaching new levels, and based on the success of the two earlier Foamposite Pro colorways, we except this third new joint to be just as, if not more than successful as the previous releases. 2011′s already had a ton of Foamposite releases, and some may call it excessive, but these are certainly one to keep an eye out for (and should be one the must-haves for when you students go back on campus). We’ve got a new set of images for you below, or better yet, grab a pair right now from id4shoes on eBay.

Carmelo Anthony and Chris Paul are together in China again, and though it’s too early for a USAB reunion on the site of their 2008 Olympic gold medal win, these two are clearly united by a mission handed down from their US-based sponsor. Their challenge: let the 300 million Chinese basketball players know what we in the States see/feel when we encounter the Jumpman. We just showed you the Melo M7 Advance and now here’s the ‘Chinese Mask’ colorway for Paul’s Jordan CP3.IV. These joints mix the primary shades of pigment with a white midsole and side panel for a bright and youthful look, and you can find a few pairs available now from Kicks-crew.

With August right around the corner, the latest release in the futuristic Hyperdunk series is almost here. This updated version of the quintessential retro sneaker, the Dunk, has been making waves since its 2008 debut. The Nike Zoom Hyperdunk 2011 promises to turn heads as well, with a handful of killer colorways in store for the upcoming debut. In these we really see the versatility of Flywire as a material, either remaining sleek with a darker tone as on the black and blue pair, or highlighting the high tech innards with a brighter shade like on the super bright volt pair. Continue reading for a detailed look at each of these upcoming colorways for the Nike Zoom Hyperdunk 2011 and pre-order a pair now at Nikestore (you’ll get a free Blake Griffin poster!). via Kenlu

The Nike Air Presto hasn’t been released in nearly as many styles this year as standby models like the Air Max 90, but this Alpha Project veteran has indeed enjoyed one of its best years since the initial run. A huge set of OG-blocked white-on-color releases dropped for summer and were followed by a blacked-out model and two new pairs just last week with a different palette distribution. This new Air Presto in black and Volt with a white midsole is closest to the last ones mentioned, though they stand out from pretty much every Presto we’ve seen over the last decade-plus thanks to the hiking boot-ish ticked laces. Click through to see more of this wild and slightly rugged look and pick up a pair from a Nike Sportswear retailer like Titolo.

A two-toned suede upper atop a gum rubber outsole. How could you come up with a more ‘classic’ sneaker design than that?! How about reminding the relatively new sneakerheads that this new Nike SB Dunk Low we’ve been calling the ‘Irons’, is in fact a near-replica of the 2003 original Dunk High SB that originally carried that name. They’re part of what’s been a year-long look into Swoosh Skateboarding’s early days, and this pair in particular seems to have a large following eagerly anticipating its release. Wait no longer, sneaker friends, as the ‘Iron’ SB Dunk Low is coming in to select retailers including Premier.

A jade green-colored, Chinese art-inspired Jordan Melo M7 was the first colorway to release from Carmelo Anthony’s seventh Jordan Brand signature sneaker, so JB switched things up when it was time for Melo to revisit the Far East. His M7 design has been upgraded to the Flywire-equipped Jordan Melo M7 Advance and the colorway is considerably more aggressive this time around, something like a classic Chicago-style Bred palette plus a hint of jade peeking through from the base layer — the colors are the same as Carmelo’s Chinese mask, yet the color distribution is roughly inverted. Click through to see more of the ‘Chinese Mask’ Melo M7 Advance and pick up a pair today from Kix-Files.

So just yesterday, Sneaker News gave you a nice thorough look at the Air Jordan 2.0 in the Grey/Black/Gold colorway, which featured somewhat of a ‘distraction’ at the very beginning. For those who are able to look through all that smoke and focus just on the sneakers, we’ve got some additional information regarding the third colorway of the Air Jordan 2.0. Priced at $160, the Wolf Grey/Black-White-Metallic Gold colorway of the Air Jordan 2.0 will released on August 13th, one week after the release of the ‘Gucci’ colorway. Some readers commented earlier that elephant print on an Air Jordan shoe not called the Air Jordan III just ‘doesn’t fit’, but it works quite well here considering it’s contained on the mudguard of the shoe. Will you cop these? Let us know and watch for these to hit at Jordan Brand retailers in three Saturdays from now.
