Reebok Kamikaze Carbon Steel Feather Blue | Release Info

Swizz Beatz’ collaborations
are probably the biggest thing that’s happened to Reebok during their post-Iverson era, Swizzy’s collaborations garnering interest from sneakerheads and casual fans alike.  The Grammy-winning producer’s biggest hit with RBK so far has been the resurrected Reebok Kamikaze, a model borrowed from a particularly strong period in the mid ’90s when Reebok had Shaq on its roster and Shawn Kemp was rocking these zig-zaggy midtops.  They look thoroughly new thanks to a revised silhouette and colorways tuned to today’s trends, this grey and Feather Blue edition a look that could stand as a reasonable time capsule pick for 2011.  Matching hoodies and snapback caps will also hit select RBK retailers this Friday, July 29th, so click through to see more and let us know if you plan to pick up ’ latest .

Air Jordan 2.0 GS Grey Gold Black | Detailed Images

Most of you won’t read this. That’s just the effect of pictures like the one you see above; a scantily clad female wearing a pair of sneakers that are at the very least interesting can easily divert our attention. So, we could have dropped some critical information here and you would have completely missed it, but we won’t do that to you. For those who made it past the first thirty-or-s0 word, congratulations. Now, back to our regularly scheduled programming: Here’s another look at the upcoming Air Jordan 2.0 in the grey/gold/black colorway; like the upcoming ‘Gucci’ colorway of the Air Jordan 2.0 (which used a luxurious faux croc-skin on the mudguard), these feature am eye-catching detail (the elephant print) on the already sweet color combination. Perhaps that’s the right way to get our attention on the shoes? More detailed images courtesy of AGS are after the jump so take a look and let us know what you think.

Jordan Alpha Trunner Max

Not long ago Sneaker News showed you the Jordan Alpha Trunner Max in the Black/Green/Red colorway, set for a release this coming August. It will be accompanied by a second colorway of Black/Grey/Gold, which we’ve seen on other Jordan Brand footwear models as well. The builds upon last year’s Alpha Trunner model, combining the mesh-uppered breathable shell with the full-length Max Air cushioning. The technology and comfort is there, so how bout the design? With the midfoot stabilizer and sleek toe-cap, the Alpha Trunner Max will have you looking in top shape in either of the two colorways. Check out the extra images below and stay tuned for these to hit Jordan Brand retailers this coming August.

Air Jordan 14 Light Graphite Detailed Images

Sneaker News showed you two different Air Jordan XIV Retro samples yesterday that both featured the Chambray shade of blue quite prominently.  When compared to the above pictured model, they give you an appreciation of both how differently black and blue are used together these days versus just five or so years ago, and how much shoe designers rely on grey for both balance and just sheer stylishness.  The Air Jordan 14 in Light Graphite does the former by serving as something of a middle ground so that the Midnight Navy and black don’t clash against one another, though a few years back we might have expected to see that combo with a Carolina blue upper.  Click through to get a good look at some new pics from ShoeWolf. This model is slated for an October 8th release, but you can pre-order yours from King Kickz or just grab a pair right now on eBay.

Nike Air Max 90 White Black Sport Red

The has been Nike Sportswear’s go-to choice of Air Maxes this year. Other Air Max classics like the Air Max 1 and Air Max 95 don’t see many releases, but Nike hasn’t been shy about dropping new 90 joints whenever it can. We’ve already shown you a few great July 2011 Air Max 90 releases like the navy suede and the Orange/Burgundy Autumn season joints, but here’s yet another release in a classic trio of colors – White, Black, and Sport Red. The materials used are leather (tumbled on the swoosh) with white mesh on the toe and ankle. That in itself makes for a pair of 90s worth looking twice at, so be on the lookout for these now at Nike Sportswear retailers like RockPaperScissors or on eBay.

Jordan Brand #Follow23 Contest Finalists

Over the weekend, Jordan Brand launched a Twitter-driven contest called #Follow23, where @jumpman23 challenged its followers with a unique photo assignment in which contest entrants would recreate a classic Michael Jordan moment. The grand prize would be the Air Jordan 2011 Q Flight #Follow23, which we showed you this past Saturday. There are hundreds of classic MJ moments to choose from, and after all the submissions, Jordan Brand has narrowed it down to these five brave souls who took the time to relive some of their favorite MJ moments in history. From the classic Jumpman stance to the famous ‘cupped ball’ dunk, the efforts put out by the five finalists are truly worthy of a round of applause (or in this case, re-tweets). Check out the five finalists below and vote for your favorite at the end, and to get your vote in for the official contest, follow @jumpman23 and RT your favorite your selection!

Nike Air Max+ 2011 Sonic Yellow White Black

If you were going to pick a time to start running (again), the beginning of the year would be the most popular choice, with influences like New Year’s resolutions and the specter of spring break pushing people to shed their wintery blubber.  But if there was a second most popular time for people to move forward on adopting a fitter lifestyle it’d be during the warm summer months, and perhaps no single colorway of the Nike Air Max+ 2011 better reflects the energy of the season.  This Sonic Yellow Air Max 2011 will turn heads even as you’re training to boost your own visual appeal, and they’re available for the taking now from NikeStore.

Air Jordan IV 2006 Retro Military | Sample on eBay

We’ll give you a quick second to figure out what’s different in this sample pair of the Air Jordan IV ‘Military’. It’s not as obvious like the True Blue Air Jordan III we showed you not long ago, but if you managed to pinpoint the difference between these and the released version, an extra ‘thumbs up’ for you. As well all know, the Air Jordan IV ‘Military Blue’ was re-released back in September of 2006 (and surprisingly, sat on shelves in some areas). Going back to the topic at hand, this Air Jordan IV sample features what appears to be nubuck material on the heel, whereas the released version uses a plastic-like material. Notice the small area under the ‘armpit’ of the Jumpman logo; other Air Jordan IV Retro releases, like the Cool Greys and even the limited Laser-uppered versions, featured this funky design flaw, so maybe that’s why Jordan Brand decided to go with plastic to eliminate that gap. More images of this sample version await you below, so take a look and hit up the auction from poofyo101jumpmansneakers on eBay.

Nike Dunk High Hyperfuse Neutral Grey White Volt | Available

Nike Hyperfuse x Nike Sportswear has produced some insane new colorways of Nike classics, and thanks to that part metallic, part matte finish of the Hyperfuse materials, the age old sneaker designs take on a whole new personality. Check out this tonal Neutral Grey colorway of the ; it seems rather simple at first, but that smooth finish paired with the Fuse-ventilated toebox and upper panel make for a high-tech appeal on a sneaker that’s a quarter-century old. Nikestore just stocked this new colorway so check out the images below for a better look.

Nike Air Max 2 Trainer 94 Blackout

Despite a slightly above average frequency for retro releases, the Nike Air Max 2 Trainer  ’94 is still something of a sleeper hit in the Nike Sportswear catalog.  This means that while many are fawning over classics like the Trainer 1 or the SC series, they might be overlooking the fact that this model can be seen as an essential link in Nike Training’s early to mid-’90s chain.  Particularly in this ‘Blackout’ colorway, one gets the sense for the upper’s unique radiating overlay, a design concept you will soon see in its next logical iteration when 1995′s Air Diamond Fury becomes the latest Ken Griffey Jr. retro release.  And even before the Diamond Furys hit retail we’re already getting the Trainer 94′s solid midtop silhouette and heel-to-toe Air Max cushioning on new Air Trainer Max 97 colorways, so you’ve gotta give NSW credit for slowly peeling back the layers on their immense treasure trove.  Click through to see this simple yet effective colorway and stick with Sneaker News for the US release date, expected this August.  via Taobao

Nike Air Force 1 Mid White Varsity Red

The low version of the Nike Air Force 1 is undoubtedly more ubiquitous, but there is something to be said for the mid with its extended ankle support and unique two-part strap. This new retro of the Nike Air Force 1 Mid comes in a palette similar to the classic white on white AF1′s, with the introduction of varying perforations polka dotting the white leathers of the upper. Then there are the deep sections of varsity red that show up the give these some color, found on the laces, side swoosh, outsole, and the Nike Air branding throughout. Follow us after the jump for a more detailed look at this , which you can cop right now from Finishline.

Supra Estate Collection Fall 2011

Supra has been such a high proportion of packs to unnamed releases of late that it’s probably another line entirely, but is it also possible that Supra renamed their spring-launched Royal collection already?  The Supra Estate collection for fall offers a similarly regal take on three of the crown brand’s biggest hits, but unlike many of their other looks this summer, each of this trio carries its own colorway.  Start with the Supra Skytop ‘MIA’, a black full grain leather model with South Beach-style accents, then move to the insane Society Mid in black TUF with a white grid overlay and finish out the set with a red canvas Cuttler that’s reminiscent of their ‘Heartbreaker’ Skytops from a while back.  Click through to see all three pairs but be swift if you want to get a pair because Factory 413 only has a limited run of each model.
