Nike LeBron 9 Black Red | Available on eBay

For LeBron fans, all of your attention is undoubtedly still focused on the LeBron 8. With Friday’s release of the ‘Miami Nights‘ and the NYC Remix-esque Graffiti version of the Nike LeBron 8 V/2 that LeBron wore during a summer league game, the LeBron 8 is still one of the top dogs in the game right now. However, here on Sneaker News, we’re ready to look ahead to the Nike LeBron 9, and by now you’re probably well-versed on the Black/Red colorway as well as the Grey/White/Red sample we gave you an exclusive look at. The LeBron 9 and LeBron 8 skips a few steps in evolution, shedding most of the LeBron 8 blueprint in favor of a brand new design. Check out the extra shots of the below, and if you want to get your hands on this size 9 sample, check out the auction from sneakgeekz on eBay.

Nike Air Max Penny 1 Electric Green Customs

Electric Green has infiltrated the Air Penny fortress, one that had been closely guarded by Black, Royal Blue and White tones for nearly two decades. Of course, once Anfernee’s reign in Orlando came to an end, we saw other interesting Air Penny color-ups in PHX Suns Purple/Orange and Miami Heat Black/Red/Yellow, but Electric Green? Where did that come from? In 2011, Nike Sportswear introduced the Nike Air Foamposite One and Pro in Electric Green colorways as well as the original Air Max Penny 1, which was featured as part of a ‘Highlighter Pack’ of Nike Basketball kicks.

Jason Negron, who’s sole swap-frenzy concepts have resulted in some great custom jobs, shows us his first featured chopped and screwed Air Max Penny 1, in which the white foam overlay from the original ‘Orlando‘ colorway is transplanted onto the Black/Electric Green base for a head-turning new look. Again, a job well done by the New Jersey-native sneaker customizer, so continue reading for a detailed look at his latest Air Penny swappage and hit up his Facebook page to inquire about your own personal customs.

Jordan Winterized 6 Rings Khaki Imperial Blue Olive | Available

Oh you thought Jordan Brand was still just making basketball shoes? It’s 2011 dummy! Michael’s empire has long since expanded its range to include casual and lifestyle offerings, and even some more rugged models like the Jordan Winterized 6 Rings shown here. The Air Jordan 6 Rings started out as a basketball shoe, but this version gets the outdoors update, with water proofing and a lug traction outsole among other added features. Between that and the military-inspired colorway, we’d say this one is a success. Continue reading for an in depth look at the Jordan Winterized 6 Rings which can be had right now at NikeStore.

Air Jordan VI Sculpture

It’s unfortunate the ‘Silver Anniversary’ never released, because an all-white pair of Air Jordan VIs would’ve been downright irresistible (and the Air Jordan VI customs would’ve been even more insane). Here’s a look at an all-white giant-sized sculpture of the Air Jordan VI; from the overall dimensions of the shoe to the finite details in the perforations on the upper, the realism in this adroitly crafted piece of art is as mind-blowing as the sheer execution of the project. No word if the sculptor, who goes by Mr-loverman El Hedonista, has plans on painting the shoe into a well-known Air Jordan VI colorway, but it certainly is impressive in its current state. We’ve got more detailed images of this sick piece of sneaker art so take a look below and let us know what you think. via MN.

Jordan CMFT Viz Air 13 Black White Red

The Jordan CMFT line seems to be particularly polarizing, with the Air Jordan x Air Max hybrid models garnering extreme reactions from both ends of the spectrum. Well, love them or hate them, surely you can’t deny the power of a ‘Bred’ colorway, can you? The Jordan CMFT Viz Air 13 dons the all important Bulls colorway here, with a red leather on the all-around mudguard, black for the dimpled upper, and a white outsole underneath it all. Looking back, this go to colorway seems to be underrepresented in this recent line of hybrids, so we’re glad to see Jordan Brand put the classic combo on here. Hit the jump for a full look at the in Black/White/Red and grab your pair now from Finishline.

Disney x adidas Originals Superstar II Mickey X

Has any other brand collaborated with more sneaker companies than ?  With tag-team efforts ranging from Etnies to Reebok, the world’s family media leader has covered all their bases (except for Nike), and here’s a new Mickey Mouse x Three Stripes collabo.  The Disney x adidas Originals Superstar II Mickey X goes with the immortal Chicago-style palette and ends up looking like Kaws might have been involved thanks to the unique glove-shoe ‘X’ pattern on the forefoot.  Mickey appears none too happy to have been de-torso’d, but the face he’s making on the tongue does indeed impart a bit of extra attitude to this design.  Click through to see more images and if you want to grab a pair, make haste to select adidas Originals accounts like Mr. R Sports.
